Chapter 37-The Quidditch Game

Hermione and I had been working on a list of who we would ask to join us in a meeting. Meanwhile, I had stayed up a bit late studying since Fred distracted me for a moment.

"Stupid Charms." said Ron under his breath as we sat in the great hall for the test.

"You should've studied Ronald." whispered Hermione. "Just like Y/N and I."

"Right, cause Y/N definitely studied when Fred went up with her."

"Ronald!" I scolded in a loud whisper. Harry giggled softly as he held a hand to his mouth to be quiet.

"You did study, didn't you?" asked Hermione.

"Of course I did." I said while looking at Fred who was sitting a few people down.

I looked away for a moment and when I looked back he was smirking at me. I felt my face flush red and shook my head while holding back a smile. He bit his lip and winked my way. I smirked and bit my lip the same way he did. He buried his head in his arms and when he looked back up his face was red.

"You see." whispered Ron. "She didn't study that's all i'm saying."

"Yes I did Ronald!" I said. "More than you at least."

"Quiet." said Professor Flitwick as he walked by us.

I rolled my eyes and continued working on my test. Hermione and I finished at the same time, leaving Ron and Harry behind. I stood up to give Professional Flitwick my test and so did Hermione. We went back to grab our book bags and prepared to leave.

"You should've studied, Ronald." I teased and Harry giggled again. Hermione smiled and we headed out. I passed by Fred and he bit his lip as we made eye contact.

"So what do you wanna do?" I asked Hermione. In that moment, Jeremy walked up to us.

"Y/N-" he started.

"Don't talk to me." I said.

"Come on, she didn't mean anything." he said pleadingly.

"Can't say the same about Fred." I said. "Like I said, i'm not sorry."

"I am. Come back with me." he said and reached for my hand.

"Don't touch me." I said and stepped back. "You're embarrassing."

"Come on." said Hermione. We walked away and headed out to the courtyard. Ron walked out not too long after.

"Where's Harry?" I asked.

"Walked off with Cho." he said and took a seat with us.

"Well what would you all like to talk about?" I asked.

"You did only study, didn't you Y/N?" asked Ron with a traumatized look on his face.

"For god's sake Ronald, yes!" I said and then looked away nervously.

We talked and talked until we decided to go walk around the grounds. It was a cloudy, gray day. The rainy type of weather that I loved.

"So who have we got for the meeting?" asked Ron.

"Well there's the Patil twins." said Hermione.

"Oh, Fred and George of course." I added.

"There's Cho, Dean, Nigel." continued Hermione.

"Luna, Ginny, Neville." I added. "And a few more."

"Would they all be willing to participate?" asked Ron. "I mean, what if they don't want to and they snitch."
