Chapter 27-Wrapping Up A Year

Today was the last day of fourth year. Everyone was either walking around or in their common rooms. I was really going to miss Hermione and Ginny. I had no other girls to talk to back home.

"You'll write to me won't you?" asked Hermione as we walked down to the common room.

"Of course I will." I told her. "I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you too."

"There you are Y/N." said Lee.

"Did you need me?" I asked.

"Yes, would you like to join us in pulling the last prank of the year?" asked George. I looked at Ron, Harry, and Hermione who were sitting by the burned out fireplace.

"Thank you for the invitation but that seems like a tradition you should keep in between you." I said as I gave them a soft smile.

"You're always welcome to join us." said Angelina.

"Okay i'm ready." said Fred as he came down the stairs. "Are you coming Y/N?"

"Oh no. Thank you though."

"Oh come on love." he pleaded.

"No no i'm fine." I said. "Go have your fun."

"As you wish Y/N/N." said George. They walked out of the common room and I went to sit with Hermione.

"I wish I could stay with you." said Harry.

"Me too. Aren't you going to spend the summer with Ron?" I asked.

"Not all of it." he said. "Have to go back with the Dursley's."

"They sound horrible." added Hermione.

"They quite are."

We spent time sitting in the common room just talking. I didn't want to leave. Hogwarts felt so much like a second home, and I like it much more. The twins had finished pulling their pranks and were now down at Zonkos. A part of me urged and wanted to go find Jeremy.

"I'm gonna go find Jeremy." I said as I stood up.

"Really?" asked Ron confused. "What about Fred?"

"What about him? We're not dating anymore." I said. "Now if you'll excuse me."

"See you later Y/N." said Harry. I walked out of the common room and headed to find any Ravenclaw to ask where he was.

"Cho." I called out as she walked with some of her friends.

"Y/N? What's up?" she asked.

"Have any of you got any idea where Jeremy is? I'm trying to get to him."

"Oh yeah actually. He said something about going down to Hogsmeade." she said.

"A book store I think." added one of her friends.

"Thank you. Enjoy your summer by the way." I told them all. They bid their goodbyes as I made my way down to Tomes and Scrolls quickly. As if it were on purpose, Fred was already walking back.

"Oh god." I said under my breathe as he ran towards me.

"Y/N! Hey where are you going?" he asked.

"Oh to the book store. I wanted to get one more book for the summer." I lied quickly.

"I'll come with." he suggested.

"No." I said quickly. "No no i'll be quick. Wait for me back in the common room."

"Okay." he said looking suspicious. "I'll catch you later."

I walked away quickly before he decided to make up his mind. The stores of Honeydukes and Zonkos were packed with students. Tomes and Scrolls however, was empty as always. I stopped right in front of the store and through the window I saw Jeremy walking down the aisles. I walked in hesitantly, for I wasn't sure I should talk to him anymore.
