My Weasley (Fred x Reader)

Chapter 4- Diagon Ally|edited|

Every moment I've spent at the burrow has been amazing. I was finally able to spend time with Harry. School was starting soon and Molly had told us she would take us to Diagon Ally. Once the girls and I were done getting ready we went downstairs and everyone was there ready to go.

"About time. You all took a bloody long time." Ron groaned.

"Oh sorry. My apologies." I said sarcastically.

"Enough talking. Time to go." interrupted Molly.

I waited until it was my turn to go. When it was time, I took the floo powder and said the words loud and clear.

"Diagon Ally!"

I felt the flames engulf me but they didn't cause any pain. After feeling stretched and twisted, I arrived in a store that sold books and quills.

Once we were all there we went in groups to get what we needed. The twins and Mr. Weasley went together. Hermione, Harry and Ron left leaving Mrs. Weasley, Ginny and I together. First we headed towards Ollivanders.

"Ah Miss Black about time!" the old man said.

"Oh um hello sir." I said. "Sir, do you mind if I ask how you know my name?" I asked.

"Ah well the word has been going around about Sirius Blacks' daughter."

"Brilliant." I said lowly.

"I have the perfect wand for you right here!" he said.

He disappeared around the corner for a bit and then returns holding a box with a dark green ribbon surrounding it. He opened the box and there it is, my wand. It was stunning.(A/N: your wand is however you want:))

"Wow- it's beautiful." I say while still admiring the wand. I held it in my hand and it was perfect.

"The wand, chooses the wizard." Mr. Ollivander says.

I thank him for his help, give him the currency, and head out to buy the remaining supplies. Ginny and I were talking until suddenly we were interrupted by someone calling my name.

"Y/N!" I turned around to see none other than Cedric.

"Oh hey Cedric." I said with a nice smile. I could see Ginny smirking at me while wiggling her eyebrows.

"Hey Y/N, Ginny, how have you been?" he asked.

"Brilliant, you?" I said as Ginny nodded her head in agreement to my response.

"I've been great, better now that I come across you." he said while smiling.

"Well that's sweet!" I said trying to sound delighted. We were interrupted by Mrs. Weasley telling us to come along to meet up with the rest of the group.

"Well I'll catch you around Black." Cedric said as he began walking backwards still looking at me.

"Yeah sure thing." I said walking away with Ginny as fast as possible.

"Looks like Diggory's got a thing for you." she said smirking while nudging me with her elbow.

"He's just being friendly."

"Yeah su-" she was interrupted by a voice who's I recognized. Fred.

"Who's being friendly?" he asked.

"Cedric is being "friendly" to Y/N." she said adding the quotation marks when saying 'friendly'. This seemed to bother Fred and George.

"Come on time to go back to the burrow." Mr. Weasley said.

Once we made it back to the burrow the girls and I headed upstairs to pack our trunks since we were leaving tomorrow. As we were packing Hermione started a conversation.

"So Y/N, Cedric Diggory?" she said with a smirk on her face. I huffed and rolled my eyes.

"Nothing's going to happen between us, he's not my type." I said while chuckling.

"Yeah she's got thing for Fred." Ginny said in a sing song voice.

My face quickly flushed with redness out of embarrassment.

"Ginny where did that idea even come from?" I said trying to brush away the obvious.

"Oh come on Y/N don't think I haven't noticed!" she said giggling.

"I thought I was the only one who thought that?" Hermione added.

"You guys are mental." I said while laughing as I threw a pillow to both of them. Soon we started having a pillow fight.

"Girls mum says-" Ron was saying until one of the pillows hit him.

It was Hermione. We all looked at each and burst out laughing. Ron then threw the pillow at Hermione causing us to stop.

"Oh it's so on Ronald!" she said as she threw it at him.

He soon joined in after calling Harry to join. We were all having so much fun until Mrs. Weasley came up to bring us down for dinner. I was walking out when I was hit one last time. I turned around to see a smiling Harry.

"I'll remember to get you back for that one Harry." I said as we walked downstairs giggling.

We all sat and ate dinner. Every now and then Fred and I would make eye contact. I got butterflies each time. After Dinner we washed up and got ready for bed. None of us could sleep so we called Harry, Ron and the twins over to our room so we could hang out until we got tired.

"Y/N are you excited to go to Hogwarts?" Harry asked.

"I am actually. I hope it's as fun as it sounds." I said.

"Well with us around-" Fred said.

"It'll always be fun." George said finishing off Fred's sentence.

"You should also focus on school." Hermione said.

"Yes mum." I said playfully.

"Let's play a game!" Ginny said excitedly.

"What type of game?" Ron asked.

"It's a muggle game called Truth or Dare." Ginny said.

"Oh I've heard about it!" Harry said.

"Ok who wants to ask first?" Ginny asked.

"Me." we all turned to look at Fred. "Y/N."

"Yes?"

"Truth or dare?" he asked with a smirk.

"Hmmm truth."

"Is it true you like Diggory?" he asked.

"Why does everyone keep asking about Cedric? Nothing's going on or will ever go on between us." I said a bit irritated but making sure to laugh so I wouldn't ruin the mood.

"Ok ok who's next?" Ginny asked.

"Me!" George said. "Fred, truth or dare?" Without hesitation Fred said dare.

"I dare you to kiss Y/N." Suddenly the whole room burst out with "Oooo's" and laughter.

"Well Black, you know what to do." Ron said.

I looked over at Fred who was already looking over at me. He came over and sat next to me. I looked at his every detail as he bit his lip slightly. Suddenly Mrs. Weasley burst in the room.

"Kids you're supposed to be in bed! We have a busy day tomorrow!" she scolded us. We all got into bed and the boys left.

---Fred's pov---

"Mate why would you do that!" I said to George as we walked into our room.

"Come on we all see the way you look at her!" he said.

"What?" I asked confused.

"You can't deny it, I mean she is pretty I don't blame you." he said as he threw the pillow back at me.

"If she's pretty then you date her." I said as I threw the pillow back at him.

"Oh I will." he said jokingly.
