Epilogue

WHEN LIFE drags you down, keep up. Don't look at the thing dragging you, just focus on your goal and keep moving. If you're walking up a very high hill with a rope carrying a big stone at your back, don't mind the heavy stone and focus on the summit. You'll just find yourself resting at the peak of it and finally looking at everything, smiling at the struggle you've surpassed successfully.

It was just a dream for me back then, to be a member of the Kingdom Armed Force. And it was such a struggle for me to get there, the people's prejudices, judgments, comments and say on everything- about women being weak, about girls born to be a servant, about ladies not being able to do hard things are completely disheartening. It's completely discouraging, but I didn't mind them. Instead, I've had this goal of proving everyone wrong about their unhealthy thoughts about women.

We may not be as strong as men, but damn, from the very beginning it was women who overcomes the most painful battle in life- giving birth. And then there are these people who disgustingly disrespect women. Not all, of course but a few feels more than many when put together.

Everyone has limitations, both gender has limitations and this gender can't be a basis on how to treat people. And that was the thing I focused on, to implement equity in our Kingdom. It was really a stepping stone, a life has fallen, but then justice came out.

Beyond these circumstances, I reached my goal. Our Kingdom is finally working on equity, no special treatments, everyone are disciplined to respect and be respected at the same time. Girls aren't servants anymore, they are actually the one who's giving luminous colors to our dull Kingdom.

"Kornalina!" A familiar voice called, I immediately smiled when I realized it was Nethaniah, "Bibisita ka kay Isaiah?"

"He even struggled that time when he decided to follow you. By that I also realized, I can't be you in any ways."

I gasped and immediately looked at Nethaniah. Mabilis siyang umiling-iling at ngumiti.

"Don't worry, I was never mad at you.

I frowned, "Dapat inistorbo mo. He'll be happier with you, Nethaniah."

Nethaniah shook her head, "He's the happiest, when he's with you. So, did he told you already?"

I chuckled, "Well, he told me he still don't have the courage to tell me about his feelings."

Nethaniah chuckled as well, "Yes, this man loves you very much. He couldn't tell you, takot ma-reject hanggang kamatayan."

Natatawang aniya, ngunit agad ring napawi ang ngiti niya at napalitan ng lungkot, "Too bad, I didn't had the chance to do so. He left without telling me, sana lang ay naririnig niya ako ngayon."
