Courtney's P. O. V.
I breathed in and out as I walked past a few people. Anna missed the church service. I was so annoyed I had no one to hold on to. Jeremy and Leo's sisters were there for me. More like I was there for them.

We were at the cemetery where his body was. I didn't know what to do when I saw his face. He looked like he was asleep, like he could wake up anytime soon.

"Leo"I whispered trying not to cry. His family was behind me. Jeremy stood beside me, his arm across my shoulder. I looked to my right only to see Anna and Lincoln coming towards our direction.

"I had to go to the hospital"she said, looking at me before looking at the casket in front of us. "Leo"

"Are you okay?"I choked out, tears already dropping.

"Yeah"she said, tears rolling down her eyes also. We both chuckled, looking sadly at the casket.

"Leo"I spoke. "Nothing breaks my heart more... seeing you in this or knowing you won't be able to tell me how annoying I can be when I have mood swings. I wish we were on good terms before all this happened"I sniffed. "I am more than sorry. You should be too"I laughed. "I can't"I said, walking away. I didn't want to bust out in front of everyone.

I walked as fast as I could with tears on my face. I got to Jeremy's car, taking deep breaths, trying to stay strong.

Leo cannot be really gone. We said forever.

"Courtney" I heard a voice. It sounded like Leo. I looked behind me only to find a replica of Leo in front of me. It was Leo's cousin,Maxwell and Leo's mum. His voice and face reminds me so much of him.

But he's not Leo.

"I need a minute with her"She said. He gave a wry smile before walking away.

"Leo was a sweetheart"she said.

How is she not crying?

"He was everything"I whispered, crying.

"He loved you"She said. "I knew he did the day he brought you home"

"I loved him"I whispered, not being able to find my voice.

"I know"she said. "The police found his phone in the car. How it didn't get destroyed in the accident is a surprise" she said, handing it to me. "His last text was to you"

"What?"I asked, confused. "I didn't get a text"I said, looking at the phone.

"It failed to send"she said.

"I know we're not okay but we will be. We're not going anywhere and I'm sorry for being a douchebag. I love you so much. Stop being stubborn and pick my damn call please"I read in my head.

I chuckled after reading the last sentence. I literally heard his voice saying that to me.

"You're free to come to the house anytime you want"she said, coming to give me a hug. I hugged her back, feeling at peace.

She's really strong.

"Thank you"I said.

"No"she said. "Thank you. Thank you for loving Leo"she added with a smile before walking away.

Anna's P. O. V.
Lincoln and I got to the funeral a little late. We missed the church service so we had to rush to the cemetery. I was so devastated as soon as I heard Courtney say "I can't" before running away. I cannot even imagine how sad she must be feeling. I felt Lincoln arms around me, hugging me as we both stared at the casket.

"He was the real MVP"Jeremy said. "Rest in peace brother"he added.

"Rest in peace"Lincoln said, placing a kiss on my hair.

I walked away not wanting to be there anymore. It was so sad. I was going to go look for Courtney when I found her coming towards my direction.

"Courtney I'm really sorry I missed the church service. I had this morning sickness..."

"It's okay"she smiled. "It's fine"she sighed. "It just feels unbelievable"she gave a soft laugh. "One minute someone's there and the next minute they are gone"she sadly said. "Life is a really a bitch"

"I agree"I heard a familiar voice behind me. I looked behind me only to find Leo's cousin, Maxwell. He was looking more handsome and dashing. Seeing him reminded about the time we made out at Leo's party. He wanted to get to know me but I wasn't in for that. I already met Lincoln but we weren't dating.

"Max"I said. "Hey"I said, wiping my tears.

"I'm gonna..."Courtney said, walking away.

"It's a bad time but I feel honoured talking to you right now"

"Stop"I chuckled.

"It's been like what three years?"

"Probably"I said, remembering the last time we saw each other. We both laughed, not knowing what next to say.

"Babe"I heard Lincoln say, coming towards me. "Hey"he said to Max.

"Lincoln Tennyson"Max said. "Nice to see you in person though"he brought his hand forward for a shake.

"And you are?"Lincoln asked, taking it.

"Maxwell"

"He's Leo's cousin"I chirped in.

"The face explains it"

"Yeah"I said.

"So we'll probably catch up later or something"Max said to me.

"Sure"

"It's been like three years. I still remember the last time we saw each other in Leo's room"he laughed.

He's definitely not bringing up the time we made out in front of Lincoln.

"This is a bad time"I said.

"I agree"he gave a low chuckle. "Bye Anna"he said. I've always loved his accent and how he pronounces my name using it.

"He looks a lot like Leo"Lincoln said.

"Yeah"I said. "And he's got a heart like him"

"Really?"Lincoln said, watching him walk away.

Why do I feel he's jealous?

"Yeah"

"Mmph"

"Seriously? You have the time to be jealous at a time like this?"I sighed.

"I'm not jealous"

"Yeah of course"I sarcastically said.

"And the last time you saw each other was in Leo's room?"

"It wasn't a great place. Why are we talking about this? Leo just fucking died Lincoln"

"Yeah I feel like you had something sexual with him"

"Wow why are you even with me when you might as well tag me a hoe?"I asked.

"I would never tag you a hoe"

"And yes I made out with him before we started dating. Imagine what I said so you can get really jealous. You're really good at that"I said, walking away angrily.

I cannot believe him right now.

I'm not in the best mood, I feel awful, my mouth tastes like vomit and yet something sexual is what Lincoln has to say.

It's extremely unbelievable.
