Anna's P. O. V.

"This should be good"Courtney said as soon as she looked at the caller ID.

Lincoln was discharged two days after he got involved in the car crash. I got my things out of his house and went back to my apartment a day after the incident. Sometimes I keep thinking of what he said about me not understanding how money matters work. I am not as rich as he is but that was a really low thing to say especially to me. He was pretty much back in shape with just a few scratches on his body. I was glad he could properly do things and he wasn't wearing a cast or using a wheel chair.

I was in Courtney's house on a Friday when Leonardo called her. We were supposed to have a music video shoot but they didn't need us anymore.

A waste of time going four miles from our vicinity.

"Hey Leo"she said, looking at me. I was eating grapes in a bowl while laying on her bed.

"Oh no"she said with a smirk. "I'm busy tonight. I have plans. Tomorrow"she drawled, thinking. "I don't know. I really have no idea"she said making me throw a grape on her.

She was playing hard to get.

"Sure no problem. Bye"she said and hung up.

"I can literally bet he asked to have dinner or something and you declined"

"Well pay back's a bitch"

"Pay back? Really?"

"Just because I told him I like him, he feels on top of the world. See why I never wanted to take your advice"she said, plopping herself on the bed and eating some of the grapes in my bowl.

"Well it did work"I said, making her look dryly at me. "Dude you have always liked Leonardo"

"Yeah and I regret it. He doesn't even like me back"

"He just said he wanted to have dinner with you"

"Well I'm too busy for that tonight"

"Busy doing what?"

"I have my skin care routine. That's pretty much more important than Leonardo and besides he could just go ahead and tell me he's doing this out of pity"

"Pity?"

"Yeah. I mean... he said he doesn't feel the same way and now he's asking me out for dinner"

"Would you chill out dude? Leo liked you as a friend and I'm sure he'd be happy to date you"

"Point of correction... Leo likes me as a friend and I messed up. I'm just gonna go for Ken"she said.

"Are you really serious right now?"I asked, watching her eat grapes. "I could literally shove those grapes right up your ass for being insensitive"

"Enough about Leo"she rolled her eyes. "How's Lincoln? Is he better?"

"Yeah. Thank heavens for that"I said. "He almost lost his life. I literally can't imagine that"

"I'm sorry to hear that"she said.

"Yeah. Thanks"

"He needs you the most right now"she said. "It's a good thing you're still at his place for a while"

"I moved out yesterday"

"Why?"

"I've stayed at his place for like two weeks... I don't wanna stay longer and come out fat"

"In other words... pregnant"

"Yeah"I truthfully said.

"He just got involved in an accident"
