Anna's P. O. V.

~Flashback~

"Hope you don't mind me sitting here?"I heard someone ask me. I raised my head to have a look at the figure in front of me.

"Oh my God"I said in my head and froze. He was good looking. His hair, his smell... he smells expensive.

"I don't"I said in a cool way trying not to gawk.

"Come here often?"he asked.

"Sometimes"I said, taking my bottle of beer so I could gulp some down my throat. His voice was everything too.

"I'm Lincoln"He said.

"Cool"I said, acting like I don't care.

"Cool?"he asked back with a little chuckle. "What's your name?"

"I have to go"I said, slapping myself on the inside for saying that.

"I didn't get your name"he said as soon as I stood up.

Fuck! Why does he have to be good looking?

"What for?"

"Incase we meet again. If you don't mind"he said with a smile while I stared a little.

"Anna"I simply said with a fake smile.

"Don't misinterpret this"he said. "You caught my attention that's all"he said as soon as I stood on my feet.

"You definitely didn't catch mine"I said about to walk away.

"With how you stared a little, you're definitely lying to yourself"

"Hell no. I didn't stare at you. You stared at me. Right from the moment you walked in"

"So you stared at me, watching me walk in here?"

What's with this guy?

"I have better things to do"I said, unable to answer.

"So do I"he said, standing on his feet with a smile.

What the hell is with this guy?

I got my umbrella, regretting why I came to the bar when it was raining. I just needed to be away from my house a little. I lost so much money on betting and I could do nothing but drink at the bar in silence. Looking at Lincoln made me forget why I came to the bar in the first place.

I walked out of the bar, trying to control my umbrella from being taken by the wind as I looked left and right for a cab.

"Hey!"I said to a cab who was coming my way. I was anything beyond relieved. I gasped in shock as it made dirty water splash on me and drove past me.

"The hell?!"I shouted, looking at my clothes and boots. I lost the grip of my umbrella, watching the wind take it away.

"Now that's just great"I sarcastically said, annoyed as hell.

I was about walking away but a car pulled up in front of me. The window was whined down, making me look at who was seated at the driver's seat.

This guy?

"Need a ride?"He asked with a smile on his face.

"Ugh"I said, angrily walking away.

"The storm is not getting any better and you'd catch a cold"he said as he drove slowly beside me.

"I don't take rides from strangers. Assholes to be exact"

"I'm an asshole?"he asked with a laugh.

"Yes"I said, already shivering.

"I just wanna help you. Don't get it twisted"

"Then get in my pants too. Of course"I sarcastically said.

"Hell no! I'm gay" he said, making me pause on my tracks to look at him. "I'm gay"he said again. "You should hop in or you'd catch a cold"

I didn't believe a word he said.

I looked at him annoyed as hell. I got the car door opened, hoping in as quickly as I could. I looked at the road, as he kept his eyes on me, probably filling his mind with pity or lust for me.

"I'm not gay by the way"He said, driving away.

"You're just really good at lying"

"I just wanna help. That's all"he said, with a bit of sincerity.

"Won't be surprised when you start asking to have a one night stand for helping me"

"Now that's disrespectful"he said.

"Nice ride though"I said, looking at the road.

Who's the guy? He seems like a rich person. A rich asshole too.

I gave him my house address, glad when he got it right.

"Thanks"I said, about to alight the car.

"I have an umbrella in the back"he said, stretching and turning around to get it from the backseat. I looked at the wristwatch on his hand, knowing that was expensive as hell.

"Who are you?"I asked, as soon as he gave me an umbrella.

~PRESENT DAY~

Lincoln's P. O. V.

I raced to go meet the doctor as soon as I saw him approach me. I was tensed and afraid. Anna lost a lot of blood. A lot.

He got his glasses off, looking at me in a sad way, making me scared.

"Talk to me doc'! Is she alright?"I asked. "Can I see her?"

"She lost a lot of blood"

"Yeah no shit. And?"

"She might lose her memory once she's conscious"

"Lose her memory?"I asked, with my heart already shattering into a million pieces.

"If she's lucky, she might not lose her memory but we're trying our best"he said, with a sad smile. I stood, frozen as I watched him walk away.

Lose her memory?

That's losing everything. Losing every memory she had with me.

"Lincoln"I heard Julian's voice behind me. He walked towards me with Kristen by his side. I called him and told him about the accident. He was scared. We were all scared.

"I'm so sorry"Kristen said, pulling me into a hug. "She's gonna be alright"she said, pulling away to look at me.

"How did it happen?"Julian asked.

"She was pissed and I let her out the car and..."I gulped, trying to control myself. I was getting emotional.

"First you, now her"she said, referring to the accident I was involved in.

"Hey man. She's gonna be fine"Julian said, assuringly.

"Doc' says she might lose her memory"

"Might, Lincoln"Kristen said with a bit of hope. "Might"she added, looking at me.

I don't want her to forget about me.
