Being in her arms, smelling her perfume and just being with her feels like half the world's problems have been solved. I feel bad for almost kissing Mbali. I'm glad she stopped me from doing something I'll regret. I break out of her arms
"Thank you Cuddles"
I say cupping her cheeks, she smiles wiping my tears away
"Don't shut me out Mine. I'm here, I'll always be here. I know you think I don't understand what you feeling but I do. I know your pain, I love Mili as if she's my own. Please reach out to me"
She says and I nod realizing how bad it must have been for her to get a call from my ex to come and see me.
"I reached another dead end. The last thing she was wearing was in a ditch together with a burnt baby's body"
She clasps her mouth
"Gugu..."
I cut her off
"It wasn't her bones cuddles"
I say because her pulse has just risen
"We going to find her"
She says with so much surety. I nod
"I'll keep looking. I've missed you"
I say looking into her glossy eyes, she smiles
"I've missed you too"
She says
"Can we go to your place so that I can show you just how much"
She giggles. We are disturbed by a knock
"Come in"
I say, Mbali walks in
"I'm on my way to Eric's, please leave my key with security. My housemate is not around"
She says
"No need, we leaving. Thank you Mbali"
I say, she just smiles and nods then walks out
"Let's go"
I say getting up and holding my hand out to her, she places her hand in mine and we walk out together.
Mbali and Eric are chilling in the lounge, talking and laughing
"Hey guys"
Eric greets
"Hey"
I respond and Sebe smiles with a wave
"Good to see you"
Eric says, I just nod.
"Thanks again Mbali"
I say placing her key on the table, she nods. We say our goodbyes and leave peacefully.

Eric called after Sebe got here and so I went to sign him in. We sitting in the lounge since Gugu and Sebe are busy.
"I thought you'd be packed"
He says settling on the couch
"You bringing me back at 4am, what's there to pack"
He chuckles
"What if I want to take you out on a romantic dinner?"
He asks. I giggle
