I knock and Mbali open's

"Been a while"

She says as we share a brief hug

"Yeah its been, how was your weekend?"

I ask as we walk in further into her home, she smiles

"I take it you enjoyed yourself"

She just smiles even wider

"Did the girls love their weaves?"

She asks and I nod smiling like an idiot

"I take it your weekend was just as good"

She says and I nod. Mili is crawling around the room but the minute she hears my voice she crawls to me in full speed making us both laugh. Feels like she's grown over the time I haven't seen her

"I missed you too daddy's little angel"

I say picking her up, she's so cute and happy making me just as happy to see her

"Can I offer you anything to eat or drink?"

She asks getting up

"Yes please"

I say and she walks to the kitchen leaving me to bond with my daughter.

"dada"

She says and I cant help but smile and be proud, she's growing to fast for me, I decide to take a video of her saying 'dada' because Sebe needs to see her. We baby talk as if she's telling me about her day. These little moments I live for.

"She really missed you poor thing. I couldn't calm her down after your call yoh"

Mbali says walking in and Mili turns to look at her for a second and then back at me playing with my face

"I missed her too. Can I take her out this weekend?"

I ask, Mbali nods

"Ofcause, you need not ask me"

She says and I shrug

"Incase you two had plans kaloku Flower"

I say and she rolls her eyes

"Isemihle is your daughter and when you want her you can take her, plus I'm leaving Friday"

She says carelessly, I shoot her look shocked

"Going where?"

I ask and she smiles

"Eric is taking me out again"

She says

"He makes you happy doesn't he?"

I ask and she smiles nodding like a little kid looking like our daughter

"He does. I don't think I've ever been this happy. I didn't think I'd be this happy ever again after everything"

She says and I nod

"I'm glad you happy Flower, you deserve good things only"

I says and she brushes my hand

"I don't need to ask you because it's pretty obvious that Sebe makes you the happiest you've ever been"

And I grin, Mili lets out a scream making us both laugh. She's not crying but she wants all my attention

"This is all you"

I say to Flower and she laughs

"Nah fam, that's you. She's too used to you giving her attention that when you don't give it to her she throws a tantrum"
