-MBALI
I don't think I've ever seen Gugu this furious. He's always cheerful but such brings out the worst in us all.
"Oh baby"
Mom says brushing my hand
"Anything?"
I ask with my voice failing me looking at Eric, he shrugs
"We've ran the hospital footage more than 5 times and we still didn't get anything. We spoke to the nurses on duty and none of them seem to know the nurse that took Bambino yesterday"
He explains. I sigh, maybe if I wasn't in bed I would have fell
"Sebe where is he? Is he Ok?"
I ask looking at Sebe, she looks at me with such sad eyes and shakes her head
"He's out looking"
She says, I sigh
"He's going to find her"
She says and for some reason I believe her. Sebe is the definition of PEACE! Mom shoots her a look but I squeeze Sebe's hand and she smiles at me
"Daddy anything?"
He sighs
"Oh princess"
That automatically means he's got nothing.
"We going to find her"
Dad says. Where do you start looking for a day old baby?
"I'd like to be alone"
I say. Everyone looks at me shocked
"Please all of you just leave, except for you dad"
I say
"Mbal..."
I shake my head at mom
"Please"
I plead. Gugu's mom kisses my forehead and walks out. Mom kisses my cheek and walks out with Eric. Sebe looks at me with pity
"Thank you"
I say and she nods walking out
"My angel"
He asks sitting where mom was
"Is there a slight possibility that my daughter is missing because of whatever war that's going on between you and Sabelo's people?"
He's taken aback by my question
"Answer me honestly!"
I demand and he shrugs
"Maybe, my guys are looking"
I nod
"I want you to run a thorough background on my therapist and whoever has had contact with me within the last 24 hours"
I demand
"Your therapist? But Mbali"
I shake my head
"She once mentioned something. I took it lightly then but now its all coming back to me"
I say trying to recall our conversations
"She once asked me what if Sabelo wasn't done with us, I never spoke about Sabelo but she tricked me into thinking I mentioned him"
He looks at me
"Princess are you sure?"
I shrug
"I could be wrong but look into her daddy"
He sighs
"Ok my angel"
I nod
"And have them get me out of here. I'm no use stuck in here"
He shakes his head
"Dad please. I need to find my daughter. I need to know why they took her"

-GUGULEZWE
After running the hospital footage over and over again we get nothing. Mom was able to describe the nurse that last had her but mom can only recall so much. After checking the footage and with the sketch we have I leave the hospital without even going back to check on Mbali. I'm scared to witness her in pain, I'm hurting but I'm certain its 100x worse for her. Sakhile agreed to meet me at the warehouse, everyone is out looking. I park outside the warehouse and look through her pictures, how beautiful she is.
"I'll find you Isemahle and that's a promise"
I say to myself and then walk to the others
"Anything?"
I ask walking in
"We ran the picture on a facial recognition system and we got a name. She's from Sabelo's gang"
I clench my hands needing to punch something
"I'm going to kill him!"
I say and Sakhile puts a hand on my shoulder
"The guys will report back to us"
I sigh
"I can't just sit and do nothing. I can't fail her like that"
I say with my voice breaking
"Seeing Mbali like that today"
I say shaking my head
"This just came in"
Sebe's mom says handing me the iPad. Its a picture of Mbali's therapist
"She worked with Mbali"
Ntombi nods
"And she is the nurse's sister"
She says
"Well I'll be damned"
Sakhile says with amusement in his voice. I send mom a text asking her to take care of Sebe.
"What else do you have on her?"
She smiles
"Everything. She's at her apartment as we speak"
Sakhile, Thuso and I strap up and drive to her place. I kick the door in and find her getting out of her room. I'm angry, mad as hell! She's about to walk back when I grab her weave and twist it pulling her back
"Who are you?"
She asks sounding scared
"Where is my daughter?"
I ask tugging on her hair
"I don't know"
She cries out
"You worked with Mbali when she was pregnant. Yesterday she gave birth and now my daughter is missing and your sister took her"
I explain pushing her to the couch. She chuckles
"Oh you the boyfriend. My sister won't give her back until she gets what she wants"
I'm confused
"If only you had just gave her those plans you wouldn't be in this mess"
She says calmly
"If she took your daughter then she must want something bigger... Or someone"
She says, I'm deadass confused. What's she talking about? I turn to the guys
"Now what?"
I ask running my hands on my face
"Nooo!"
Sakhile yells but when I turn she's already jumped. From the last floor all the way down.
"Fuck!"
I walk to the window and its a long way down.

-SEBENTILE
I honestly don't know what Mbali's mom wants from honestly or does she want Gugu and Mbali to get back together again I don't know or maybe she blames me for their breakup, but whatever it is it's serious she doesn't miss an opportunity to give me and evil eye or make some mean comment.
"Thank you so much for being here Sebe, I know you probably have better things to do than be at the hospital with the girl who has a child with your man"
Gugu's mom says as we sitting on the benches, I smile at her
"There's no place I'd rather be ma, Mili is as my child as she is to Mbali. I'm her God mother you know"
I say and she smiles at me
"Really? I didn't know"
She replies
"Mbali asked me yesterday before you guys arrived"
I say thinking how happy we were just a few hours back
"They'll find her"
She says brushing my thigh
"I know ma"
I reply as silence takes place.
"Yati I dreamt about this"
I say and she quickly turns to me
"What do you mean?"
She asks and I sigh
"I don't remember it properly, I've been praying to God to help reveal what I can't remember"
I say
"What do you remember baby"
She says gently but impatient too
"When got the call we had just woken up. I remember asking no begging some women to bring her back"
I say
"Did you tell anyone else this?"
I shake my head no
"I was about to tell Gugu when we were called and haven't spoken to anyone since"
She nods
"We'll pray about it love, thank you"
She assures and I nod. I take my phone out and text Mine
"The woman who took Mili we know her"
I send. When I look up I see Lesh approaching, I get up and meet him halfway. He engulfs me in a hug
"You okay?"
He asks not breaking the hug and I nod
"What happened?"
He asks again and I pull away
"Mbali gave birth yesterday and the baby was stolen at dawn today"
I say and he nods
"I'll see what I can do"
He says
"Thank you"
I say and he smiles
"Anything for you my love"
I hug him again
"Let me introduce you to Gugu's mom"
I say pulling his hand
"Are you sure?"
He says restricting and I nod
"Besides ngifuna kunyisa makwaMbali"
I say and he laughs
"Why?"
I shrug
"That woman doesn't like me I don't know why"
I say
"O batla go mo nyisa gurl"
He says and I laugh. Mbali's mom is already looking at us, I roll my eyes.
"Ma"
I say to Gugu's mom, she lifts her eyes from her phone and smiles, this woman is an angel
"This is Samkelo my friend, Lesh this is Gugu's mom"
I say and she gets up to hug him
"Nice to meet you baby"
She says
"Likewise ma"
She nods, he pulls me
"Let me go and see what I can do"
He says
"I'll keep you posted. I forgot to ask"
I say and he looks at me
"Yes?"
He says
"How did you know which hospital we at cause I didn't tell you?"
He looks at me
"I love you"
He kisses my forehead and leaves, did he just dismiss me? I chuckle walking back to Gugu's mom.
