If you were to ask me how it became an every day thing for Sapnap to be a virtual guest during dinner, I wouldn't be able to tell you. One night turned into two; two turned into three, and so on.
I'd have my dinner while Sapnap had his lunch or just visited with me and my nights became a lot less lonely. It didn't make much sense for us to become friends so quickly, but in some strange way we just clicked. We hadn't streamed together at all after our Love or Host date and we didn't really talk about each other online or to our friends, but we had these moments of peace for just the two of us.
We weren't trying to keep the fact that we were friends a secret, but I was fine if it stayed as one. It felt like a sort of safe bubble. We'd talk about everything and anything without any stress as to who would hear. It was a weird kind of freedom that could only truly be enjoyed after your first moments of friendship were broadcasted to a hundred thousand people.
So, that's how we stayed for a week and a half, a secret friendship. That came undone quickly, though.
"I'm not kidding!" I laughed. "She seriously was afraid to dye my hair green."
"That's such a weird thing to be afraid of." Sapnap laughed with me. "The good news is, now you can dye your own hair green if you want to. Although, I think the red looks really good."
I smiled and ran my fingers through my hair. "You think so? I'm a fan of it, but I have an idea."
"What's your idea?" Sapnap leaned towards his camera like I had when I got excited.
"Okay, picture this." I started, giddy to talk about my ideas for my hair. "I'm thinking split dye."
Sapnap chuckled. "I have no idea what that means, Medusa."
I held a finger up in the middle of my forehead. "Keep the red to the right and dye everything to the left black."
He took a second to process before nodding. "Oh! Didn't you do that with black and blonde when your hair was longer?"
"Has someone been stalking my Instagram?" I teased with a giggle.
He held his hands up in surrender. "First of all, you did the same thing to me. Second, your outfits just look really cool."
My face lit up. "Really?"
He nodded and chuckled. "Yeah. I don't understand how you have the patience to do all that. Like, there's too many layers."
I giggled. "I feel hot, so I do it. It's as simple as that." I suddenly thought of something and grabbed my phone. "Wait, let me show you the stuff I just got!" I rushed over to my room.
"What'd you get?" He asked.
I hummed as I took out the new clothing and laid it out on my bed. "I've got a new skirt, a pair of stockings, and a garter."
He gave me a weird look. "What the fuck is a garter?"
I flipped the camera around and pointed at the piece of leather on the bed. "This is a garter. It's like a belt for your thigh." I pointed at the clips at the bottom. "This one holds up stockings though." I pointed at the black stockings on my bed. "I just got these ones to replace my old pair because I ripped them."
I started to turn the camera back towards me, but Sapnap stopped me. "Wait! Wait. I wanna see the skirt too."
I giggled at his excitement and showed the skirt on my bed. "It's got this really cool ombré from black to white with these little checkers." I brought my phone camera closer to the fabric. "I don't know if you can see them."
