The stream had ended maybe fifteen minutes ago and we had just stood around talking about random topics. While Karl and Nick went on a tangent about something, I noticed the text that I had received a couple minutes ago.

Bea
Staying at Laine's tonight

Mel
😏

Bea
😏 yourself missy

I chuckled at the text and Karl looked over at me. "What?"

I shrugged. "Just Bea. Speaking of, I'm still in need of a ride home."

"I'll drive you." Nick offered.

I would've loved that, but I was worried about how much driving he's been doing. "Are you sure? You drove twenty hours yesterday. Aren't you sick of the car?"

He just smiled at me. "What difference does fifteen minutes make?"

I chuckled. "I mean, I guess. Still, though, Karl already promised if you don't want to."

Karl held his hands up in surrender. "Nope. He offered. I'm backing out now."

I looked over at Nick. "Can we leave in a couple minutes?"

He nodded. "Yeah. Whatever works."

I threw them both a thumbs up. "Sick. I'll be back."

Karl bunched his eyebrows together as I went to leave. "What are you doing?"

"I need to piss, Cubby. What? You think I'm gonna steal your sonic DVDs? I already have one." I turned around in the doorway and teased him.

"Wait, did you keep that DVD I gave you?" Karl had a sweet smile on his face.

I laughed. "Yes. Now, let a woman piss, won't you?" I closed the door behind me and could hear them both laughing.

I opened the door to Karl's streaming room once again and poked my head in. "I'm ready to go when you are."

"Right. I'll be down in a second." Nick looked over at me.

I gave him a nod and went downstairs to find where I had thrown my hoodie. I thought I had left it on the couch, but the couch was empty except for a throw pillow. I frowned and looked at the rest of the chairs around the room.

When I still couldn't find the hoodie in that room, I went to check if I had put it over one of the barstools in the kitchen.

"Looking for this?" Nick spoke from behind me.

I turned around and smiled once I spotted the navy blue fabric in his hands. "Why, yes I am."

Nick pulled the hoodie closer to him when I tried to grab it. "I have a deal."

"What deal?" I frowned and looked up at him.

"I keep this." My frown deepened as he held the hoodie up slightly. I mean it was his, but it still hurt. "And I give you one of my other ones."

I smiled at his proposition. "Deal."

"You want to pick one or should I?" He questioned.

"Your choice." I decided.

"I'll be back in a minute." He smiled at me and walked over to the room he was staying in. It took probably less than a minute before he threw a black hoodie in my direction. "You're repping the merch now."

I unfolded the sweatshirt and snorted when I saw the Thrasher style merch design on the front. I slipped it over my head and was met by the same smell that his other hoodie used to have. "How's it look?" I chuckled.
