Chapter 28

Alycia's Pov.

"So you finished it yeah?" Matt said with a smile and I nodded. "Let me hear it." He said and rubbed his hands together in excitement.

"Okay okay." I said with a shy smile because I really like this song.

I walked over to the piano in the room to start up the song and Matt looked shocked that I was on the piano. I don't play it much but this song just fit so perfectly with it. It's simple so it's not hard to play and that's why I like it. The lyrics hit harder and the keys just give it a twinkle.

I cleared my throat before I started playing.

"I'd like to tell you that my sky's not blue, it's violent rain" I started singing and I smiled to myself at the sound i've been going over the past two days in my apartment on my piano.

I don't want to look at Matt's reaction yet so I didn't turn around to see, instead kept my sight on my hands and the lyrics in front of me.

I felt like I lost myself in the song because I didn't even comprehend what I was singing, I just felt myself singing it.

I got to the bridge and calmed my voice again.

Know my heart still has a suitcase, but I still can't take it through" I sang with a smile before singing the last chorus verse and I ended the piano playing before turning around to see Matt's reaction but was met with not only Matt, but Harry leaning against the doorway.

"You've had this up your sleeve for 2 days and didn't show me?" Harry said with a small grin and I chuckled with a nod.

"When did you walk in?" "Mid way. I know I didn't mention I was coming by but i'm so glad I did. That was insane Alycia." He said with a smile before coming over to cup my face and pressed a kiss to my lips.

"Not to break up the love fest but damn Alycia. That's one of my favorite songs you've ever written. That felt more like you than anything i've heard you sing in a long time." Matt said with a small smile. He looked so...proud. I don't know but it almost made me emotional to see how he was looking at me.
