Chapter 54

Alycia's Pov.

Harry left this morning. It wasn't some long and sad goodbye because he woke up late. Like...very late. Jeff was at my front door this morning.

He was that late.

It was kinda sad because he had to rush so quick so we didn't even really get to say goodbye properly. I guess last night was our proper goodbye.

He kept apologizing the entire time he was getting ready but he stopped for about 5 minutes and kept telling me things to reassure me that we'd be fine. He kept telling me he loved me and then apologized like I said, pretty much a million times, for not getting up in time for us to spend some extra time together.

We went to bed late though and that was on us.

I get to see him in 7 days though so it'll be okay. I know I won't get to talk to him as much and that's the only thing that's kinda hitting hard.

He told me he might not can respond as much but not to think he's ignoring me. I figured we couldn't too much once his shows start anyways. It's just gonna be something to adjust to.

He's been gone for about three hours though and he's texting me nonstop. He's on the bus currently because they're driving to the first location in Colorado so that's why he's able to talk to me.

Sometimes he'll have to fly to certain places and he made me aware of that too. So on those days, he'll have even less time to talk to me.

I've made sure to tell him how completely understanding of all this I am. I don't want him to think i'm upset because tour is supposed to be exciting and I wouldn't want him making me feel bad if it were reversed.

In a few months, it will be reversed.

"Okay so we need to start lining up this album hot stuff." Matt said as he twirled in his seat in the studio.

We're nearing the end of our studio session for the day and we've been finalizing certain songs as well as deciphering which ones we want on the album. We just need to start lining up all the songs now.

"I know. I was thinking we end it with 929. I don't think I know which one I want to start it with though. I don't think i've written it yet honestly. I think it's something for the future." I explained and he chuckled.

"What more inspiration do you need?" He said with a cocked brow. "I don't know. Hopefully nothing bad happens that ends up being my inspiration but we'll see."

Matt just pursed his lips and nodded. It was a comfortable silence for a second but I could tell there was something on his mind.

"So...how's everything with Dylan?" He asked and I was shocked he even asked. "What do you mean?"

He rubbed his thighs with his hands and he seemed a little nervous.

"I mean...with the alleged sex tape and everything. How's that going?" He asked and I sighed.

I haven't told anyone but Jeff, obviously, that i'm meeting with him whenever he gets back. I just can't tell Matt. I don't want him telling Harry. Normally I would tell him anything but I know he's gonna be against this. I don't want him to go to extreme measures to keep me away from Dylan. Like telling Harry.
