Chapter 62
Harry's Pov.
The lights went low and the music kept playing as I ran off stage for the short intermission. My in-ear piece keeps messing up so I ran down the stairs to Ben, he deals with all tech sides of everything, our mics, amps, ear pieces etc.
He immediately grabbed a bunch of chords that were hooked to the monitor on the back of my pants.
"Jeff!" I yelled, not even seeing him just hoping he would come if he heard me. Sure enough he turned the corner and met me. "What's up? Your ear piece still fucking up?" He asked and Ben told him he's fixing it.
"Where's Alycia? She said she was gonna sit side stage. I just wanna make sure she's okay."
I expected to see her at some point. It's frustrating worrying about her all the time. Especially when i'm on stage and have so many more things to do than worry. It's not her fault though, it's my own. It's just exhausting.
"She's okay." He said shortly which just caused me to give him a confused look. "Well what is she doing?" "I think she was on the phone." He said but didn't look me in the eye as he started holding some chords to help Ben.
I just nodded, leaving it at that but i'm gonna try and go check on her before I go back on if they could fix this quickly.
"I'm gonna check on her before I go back on." I told him and his eyes immediately met mine. "She was on the bus last time I saw. You don't have time to go out there." "Why is she on the bus?" "On the phone, I already told you."
Why the fuck is he being so weird?
He looked at me and I just furrowed my brows at him, not wanting to start anything in front of Ben, or anyone else for that matter.
"Can you just tell her to come up here when she's done?" I asked him and he just nodded.
Jeff is shit at hiding things and I can tell something is up. It was already fucking weird to me that he was in the bus talking to her today and I walk in to see them hugging. Then, she seems to tell him things before she tells me. It's all fucking weird. I don't like it.
I sat there a bit longer while Ben fixed everything and I downed a whole bottle of water.
I was hoping to see Alycia pop up at some point but she hasn't. It's giving me anxiety and I don't know why. She didn't sit side stage last night either so I don't know why it's making me anxious but Jeff's weird behavior right now just makes me feel off.
