I felt the heat on the corner of my eyes and my hands are trembling. I want to walk away and sit on our table but I can't. Aika, Deli and Anna were nowhere to be found. Wala akong mahingian ng tulong para ihatid ako sa table namin.

Why does my memory with Jeremy, that night, came crashing to my mind? And why am I trembling like this?

Akala ko, mapapaupo na ako sa sahig dahil sa sobrang panlalambot. Kaonti na lang din, tutulo na ang luha ko. I thought I would pass out but someone grabbed my hands, putting it around his nape, as he held my back, gently pulling me closer to him.

My tears immediately fell to my cheeks because I couldn't hold them back anymore. I can still remember everything that night. I gave in to Jeremy but why does it haunt me like this?

Who the hell is he? And why is he dancing to me like this?

I looked around and saw Anna and George from afar were dancing so close to each other. Of course, they were a couple! That's fine! But why is this man dancing to me like this?!

His body is swaying while holding me close to him, making us dance to the rhythm of the song.

"S-Sino ka?" tanong ko gamit ang nanginginig na boses ko.

"Hmmm..."

Tumayo ang balahibo ko at bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko sa kaba nang marinig ko mismo, malapit sa tainga ko, ang simpleng huni na 'yon mula sa bibig niya. My eyes even grew wider because of that. He looked like we're at the same age but the effect of that hum intimidates me.

"I'm asking you, sino ka?" matigas ang boses na tanong ko.

The man chuckled. "I'm just no one. I just want to dance. And you happen to be there, standing like a statue."

Why am I thinking about something else? Why am I expecting something else to be his answer? And it's not like I know him! I just like how his voice sounded. Nothing more!

Huwag ko na sanang makita ang mukha niya.

"Your hands are shaking. Let's just dance until you're calmed down," he whispered.

I gulped as I felt the heat on the corner of my eyes again. I sighed as I looked at the other direction. There are men that's looking at us—me, as they passed us by. The disco lights are hitting their faces but I don't know any of them aside from some of my classmates.
