Tyrone and I agreed not to let my friends know until we finally passed the ALE. Noong una ayaw ni Tyrone because he told me that we're adult already and we can decide on our own. He hates having this relationship a secret to everyone, so in exchange, I told my family that Tyrone and I are finally in a relationship and Mama's really happy about that.

Maliit na ngiti lang ang naibigay ko sa kan'ya bago natapos ang video call naming dalawa. After so many years, her words that broke my heart are still clear to me--parang kahapon lang sinabi sa akin ni Mama na wala nang magmamahal sa akin dahil hindi na ako virgin. Ngayon, sobrang saya niya kasi sinabi kong kami na ng lalaking gusting-gusto niya para sa akin.

The following days and months, we managed to get through this relationship without having a major problem. We were just as happy as we were, back in my college days. It's hard but since we learned to live our lives apart and still love each other, seeing only twice or thrice a week is just fine for us.

"Where are you?" Tyrone asked when he called me.

Lumingon muna ako sa site bago ako sumagot sa kan'ya. "Nasa Bataan ako for site visitation. I'm going to be late for Deli's birthday."

He chuckled. "Should I pick you up?"

"Hindi na!" I laughed. "Architect Villaflor will drive me back to the company."

"Who's that?"

"He's the superior I'm talking about."

"He?"

Napalunok ako sa tanong niya. What a fucking slip of a tongue, indeed. Tyrone maybe a composed man but his temper when he's jealous is really different.

Labi ko ang nahihirapan, eh. Not that I mind it, though.

"He's just a workmate, oh my god." I chuckled.

"Maaga naman ako matatapos ngayon, love. I will pick you up there, okay?"

"Hmmm . . ." I tried to hide the happiness in my voice but this is not working, argh. "Don't be jealous. You know that it's you and you alone."

"And it's you and you alone for me too so let me do this for my future wife, okay? I'll pick you up there. By 5 p.m., I'll leave here. I love you."

I giggled before I ended the call. I went back to the site and do my work there. Ginagawa ko ang mga inuutos ni Architect Villaflor at hindi naman mahirap 'yon. Tinuturuan niya rin ako kung paano ang gagawin kapag professional architect na rin ako.

"You should always check the measure if it's right just as we planned, okay? Measurements are the most important because it might cost us lives that we can never pay if we did something wrong."

Tumango ako bago isinulat ang mga susunod niyang sinabi tungkol sa ginawa naming site visitation, ang sukat para sa ilang parte na kailangan pang i-renovate, at ang mga gamit na kailangan para sa ilan pang lugar na kailangan.

Nang matapos ay magdidilim na rin. I checked my time and it's already 6:21 p.m. Aabot pa kaya ako sa birthday ni Deli?

"Let's go, Architect KC."

Umiling ako at ngumiti. "My boyfriend is already on his way to me."

Tumingin siya sa relo niya bago lumingon sa akin. "You should be waiting on a convenience store. I'll drive you to Ministop and just tell him that you are there."

Ngumiti ako at tumango sa kan'ya bago sumakay sa kotse niya. Nang makasakay na siya sa driver's seat ay nagsalita ako.

"Thank you, Architect."
