Chapter Thirty Two

"What the hell..."

I looked back at Erza and Jellal,"you aren't going after her,"said Erza.I sighed,"go to bed.She'll come back,"said Jellal.I shook my head,i needed to do something but i couldn't fly like Wendy just did."I'm going for a walk,"i said.

"Be safe."

I nodded and walked to the only place i knew could help me.The cliff.I walked over,through the trees.I smirked as i saw Wendy standing there.Her wings were folded neatly.

"You had the same thought as me."

"I always do,"i responded.I walked over,"you can't carry me the whole way you'll be exhausted,"i said.Wendy sighed,she looked me in the eyes."I know but i can do this,"she said.She pushed me off the edge.

There was two hundred metres of falling,i was gonna hit the ground real quick.I yelled,then suddenly i wasn't falling.My stomach wasn't in my lungs and my heart wasn't in my throat.Wings sprouted from me too.

"What the hell?"

Wendy came over to me,"mates can lend their magic when they're in need.Look at the mark,"said Wendy.I was totally in shock,i looked at the gentle mark.It was glowing purple.I was amazed.

"Come on,we need to get there before daylight.I wanna attack while everyone is asleep,i know how to get to Kasai."

I frowned,"how?"i asked.Wendy held up his jumper,the fluffy blue jacket was in her hand."I need to smell this once and i know how to get to him,"explained Wendy."Now come on,let's get going,"whispered Wendy.

This was the dumbest idea we ever had,yet i had no reason to not turn around.

We crept around the corner,seeing people chained on the walls.There were no guards there,all asleep.The prisoners themselves seemed to be asleep as well,we needed them to be quiet."Can you open a portal?"i asked Wendy.She nodded,then i walked around.

"Who is it?"

I looked around and saw a prisoner looking at us,"members of a magic guild.We're here to save you but you need to be quiet.Please cooperate and we can get everyone out of here,"i replied quietly.From the look of the prisoners,it seemed they have no strength to yell to begin with.Slowly,one by one,i cut their chains off them.

"Go through the portal everyone is getting out okay?"

Wendy opened the portal behind me,then began flooding people through it.We had to be quiet and fast,i was trying to look for Kasai while doing this.I began to push people out of here,there were no guards watching them and it made me nervous.

Where was the guild?

It didn't matter,we were lucky.I finally got to someone,their hair was mattered and red with blood."Romeo?"asked the voice,i looked up.My heart slowed down.It was Chelia....she burst out crying and hugged me with her hands still behind her.

"Romeo!Please please help..."

Wendy came over to me,"who is it?"asked Wendy.You couldn't really see anyone,it was dark and murky down here.For the island of the sky dragon,Grandeeney,it was pretty murky.Then again,we were underground in these caves.

"It's Chelia,anyway...are there any other guild members?"

Chelia nodded,her eyes were full of fear even through the dark.I cursed,"like who?"whispered Wendy.We had managed to get many prisoners from this section out.We were hoping not to get caught still.

"I've seen...I saw Lucy be brought in maybe two hours ago...her children as well.She was accompanied by maybe five children i don't know them.I saw Jellal...maybe Sasuki and Katsue...There was dozens."

My heart dropped."Wait,we saw Lucy before we left..."i whispered.I turned to Wendy,we had fucked up badly."Wait what's happening?"asked Chelia.I quickly took her restraints off and helped her to the portal.Her leg seemed broken,she stayed quiet.

"We fucked up.We're on the island where this started,however it seems they attacked it and took some of our guild.We weren't there,we left three hours ago."

"I'm not sure what's happening?"

"It means they attacked innocent islanders and our guild who were already injured enough.We need to get more people,otherwise this will never end."

Chelia shivered and we walked through the portal.Wendy closed it,then we showed up on the cliff of the island.Almost a hundred or so people stood there confused,"there's an emergency!Walk south!Me and Wendy have to go ahead and make sure it's safe!We'll send a flare if it is,"I said.

"Romeo do you think we messed up?"

I didn't reply.We ran towards the village,then as we got closer we heard the screams and cries of the islanders.Even worse,our own guild.I looked at Wendy,we were most likely the only uninjured people."We have to fight like hell,"i whispered.

Wendy nodded,going into dragon force."You need to try it,go into dragon force.Otherwise i done think we can do this,"said Wendy.I nodded,i relaxed my muscles and allowed Wendy's power to take control over mine.

I felt a weird sensation in my head,as well as scales covering my arms and legs.I shivered,this felt weird.Yet at the same time i felt the most powerful i had ever felt.I looked at Wendy,she smirked."Nice horns,"joked Wendy.I rolled my eyes,she jumped into the battle.

I followed her,then when we came out of cover i was shocked.Things were burning,kids were screaming in pain.Dark mages laughed as they could hear the torture they placed upon others.I glanced over at Wendy,we may have just killed dozens of people.

I cracked my knuckles,ready to jump forward into the battle.Suddenly,they retreated.It was like they all turned tail at once and disappeared.I relaxed and fell out of the dragon force state,i sent a flare into the air for the prisoners.

We walked into the village,curious to see the damage that had been done.My heart shattered as we walked forward,"Wendy!Romeo!You're here!"yelled Levy.She stumbled forward,bleeding from her arm and head.

"What's going on?"

"They attacked us while we were sleeping...they took a bunch of us and then just started attacking.They took Gale and Rosemary...maybe Reiki too..."said Levy.She seemed confused,i wouldn't be surprised if she was in shock.

I watched as Wendy put aside the matters that her own child was taken."It's okay Levy we can find Gale,she'll be okay.Now let's go look and see who we have left,"replied Wendy.I helped Levy up,then we began to search for our guild.
