Chapter Thirty Seven

My whole body was in intense pain,worse than the first time i fought Hisao a few weeks ago.My vision was blurry but i heard Romeo and Hisao fighting.I tried to sit up and fell back down.I looked at my hands,covered in blood.I ripped my dress and wrapped it around my wrist,which seemed to be the worst.

I stood up,stumbling."Wendy i've got this!"yelled Romeo.I shook my head knowing that wasn't true.He glanced back at me,which was the wrong move in terms of what happened next.Hisao did the same thing he did to me on Romeo.

Romeo cursed loudly,holding in a scream.I was too weak to even summon a simple spell.My dragon force had gone,i had almost no magic left.Romeo cried out as a cut made it's way across his leg.I tried to stumble forward.

I fell onto my knees."You're pathetic Wendy,you can't even stand up and fight me.You're just going to watch your whole family die this time!"yelled Hisao.My heart was pounding against my chest.I couldn't let him do this to me.

I sucked in the air,it was stale and tasted like i was drinking water for a bath mat.It didn't matter,it helped me in terms of energy,Romeo was still yelling out in pain.I could see the blood pooling around him.Hisao couldn't do this to him.Hisao couldn't hurt him again.

My arm was burning intensely,i looked down to see a faded but glowing mark on my wrist.It was Grandeeney's magic,she was here with me and she knew it.She was going to help me win this,she knew she had too.I thanked Grandeeney mentally.

I couldn't use the power yet,i had to get Hisao hurt enough to the point of death and than finally put an end to his torture and kill him.I leaped forward and punched Hisao,feeling power course through my veins after reenergising.

"What on-..."

He was cut off by me slamming a fist into his stomach.I felt a few bones break in my hand from the force but i couldn't let that stop me.I had to make sure i could kill him,he would never hurt anyone else again and i had to be sure of that.

If i wasn't sure about killing him than i should've said goodbye to my son and i knew that wasn't it.I had too much to lose and there was no way in hell i would.I landed another punch on Hisao,he was in a stunned state.

"Sky dragons roar!"

A magic circled appeared below me as i chanted,Hisao was blown back into a wall,the power from my spell left a dent in the cave wall as he fell to the floor.I pushed him back further,putting immense pressure on every part of his body.

He gasped for air as i walked closer,putting so much pressure on that his lungs couldn't expand to fill his body with air.His lungs would be screaming and the pressure in his head would be so immense that it was like a constant pounding on his head.

He tried to lift a hand to use magic on me but i had him at this stage.I was twenty metres away from him,holding my hand straight in front of him and holding him there.I waited until his face turned slightly purple before i let go.

This was my chance,i let go of everything.I had been holding back the power from Grandeeney and she was finally here to help me win the fight.This is what she had trained me to do,she trained me to protect my family and i was doing that.

I felt a rush of adrenaline as the power went through me.It was powerful and i almost thought i couldn't handle the magic.I smirked,dragon force coming back.The scales on my arms grew and i felt myself becoming stronger.

Suddenly nothing hurt in my body and i was above everyone in the room.Nobody could stop me from the magic i held,Hisao didn't have the energy to stand.My normal wings in dragon force were replaced by smaller replicas of Grandeeney's white ones.

Hisao managed to stumble up,only to see my appearance.I smirked,he was finally going to be gone once and for all.I knew Romeo was still on the floor behind me but i knew all his energy had been drained from him.

"Sky dragons secret art!Crushing claw!"

The words slipped from my mouth before i could even think of what was happening,like Grandeeney was taking control of my whole body.I could hear her behind me,whispering words of encouragement.I knew i was going to be okay.

I watched as Hisaos body from throat down to his pubic bone was sliced,i didn't even have to touch him.He let out a grunted scream before eventually dying.His organs and blood spilled around him.I turned away from his body.

I was on a high,"look at you!Pathetic!With no leader you are nothing!"i yelled.I heard yelling above me as Natsu jumped into the cave again,followed by Erza and Jellal and dozens of other Fairy Tail members.I sighed in relief.

"You did fantastic my dear...i've taught you well..."

"Thank you Grandeeney,"i whispered.The fight was finally over,i knew the other members of Fairy Tail would take control of the dark guild.I stumbled over towards Romeo,feeling myself become weak as i realised the pain i was in.

He was laying stomach up when i approached him.His eyes were closed,I leaned my head against his chest."I did it,"i whispered.I was so tired,i could feel my whole body shutting down from exhaustion.This was worse than any pain or exhaustion i'd ever felt.

"You did so good...i'm so proud of you..."

I smiled and held his hand on my cheek,he rubbed his thumb over it."We're going to be normal,"i whispered.He chuckled,some blood spluttering from his mouth.I frowned,"i love you..."whispered Romeo.He continued to rub my face.

"When Kasai is old enough i left stuff...in a box under our bed...it's for him to read..."

"Hey don't talk like that,"i replied.Romeo coughed more blood up.Why was he coughing blood?He closed his eyes and began to breath slower,i felt an ache in my heart."No,no Romeo wake up!"i yelled.

"No don't...please don't...no you're supposed to be here!Please don't!Please don't do this again!"

Things were quiet now,men were being taken by Jellal's guards through a portal."No!Please!"i screamed,i began to shake his body.Where was he bleeding?I ripped off his clothes and began to search,finally seeing the scar that killed him last time was reopened.

"No!Romeo!"

I held my hands over his stomach,screaming in pain as my injuries began to open up further from over exertion.I screamed loudly putting all my effort into healing Romeo.He couldn't do it this time.He couldn't leave me again.It couldn't be real this time.

Natsu began running towards me,taking off his vest to help stop the blood pouring from his body.I cried as i healed Romeo,wanting to see him come alive.I leaned down and listened to his heart,i heard a beat.I heard a beat.

"He's...he's going to be okay."

Natsu glanced at me and began to call Jellal over to get Romeo to the islanders for further help.Natsu glanced at me,i looked at him back.Everything was swaying around me."Wendy?"asked Natsu.I tried to keep myself steady.

"Wendy..."

White noise blasted in my ears,i grew uncomfortably hot as i began to feel myself spin.The world below me was out of control.I fell to my side,as i fell towards the ground i could feel myself losing control.My eyes closed,darkness welcomed me.
