Chapter Thirty One

I had to admit,this was chaos.We at first were winning,in fact at first we thought we could win.Then suddenly they came from no where,dropping from the sky like bombs.They attacked and were ruthless,they didn't care if they died.

"Triage everyone,anyone who needs it the most send them to me.Ill have to heal as many people as i can,other then that we have to believe in medicine."

I grabbed a permanent marker from someone's hand,we began rushing back through the portal that was created by Levy.I was the last to go in,however i returned on the other side of the portal to see the damage.

Like i had said,chaos.I had no idea where Romeo was,or Kasai.I knew that Kai was supposed to be taking care of Kasai however when we got through the portal i saw Kai.I needed to think,i started looking at people.I breathed deeply,think.

"Okay everyone needs to see me first,i'm gonna give them a letter on their leg it's triage people!Do anything to save someone i don't care!"

I ran to someone first,i wasn't sure who it was but they were bleeding and their head had a nasty laceration.I hovered my hand over it,scribbling on his leg that he would live,i called an islander over."Clean the wound,cover it,"i said.

"Wendy we need you here it's Gajeel!"

I shivered,but ran over to Gajeel.I saw Lucy with him,she was doing chest compressions,i leaned down and listened.Nothing,"okay Lucy i need you to get Nova.Now!"i yelled.I took over Lucy and began doing the compressions.

Each pump of his heart,i would release magic to try restart his heart.I saw Lucy run over with Nova,the nine year old looked at me confused."Nova are you like your dad?"i asked,Nova nodded.Her eyes were full of fear.

"Good,your gonna shock Gajeel right here.Okay?When i tell your too your gonna shock him.Use as much as you can."

I made sure everyone stopped touching Gajeel,my heart was thumping and i wasn't ready to lose him .Nova nodded,"okay now!"i yelled.Nova shocked him,his chest lurched forward in the direct of her hand.

I listened to his heart,"no go again even more!"i yelled.There was so much yelling,i could hear people screaming in pain.What the hell happened?Nova shocked Gajeel again,i listened to his heart.It was weak,i pushed my magic out of my hands into him.

His chest starting heaving and he shot up.I leaned back,he was okay."Gajeel what the hell happened?"asked Lucy,he looked between us,then collapsed again.I made sure he was breathing,he was fine.Exhausted?The battle was barely twenty minutes long...

"Okay get Gajeel to a bed,i need to find Romeo and Kasai."

Lucy nodded and i began searching between the bodies,most major traumas had died down as i was healing Gajeel,no one really needed my help.People just needed to be transported to beds,i finally saw Romeo.

He was on the ground,a bandage around his torso and head.He had a nasty cut on his leg too.I sighed and walked over to him."What the heck happened?"i asked,he laughed sheepishly.He tried sitting up but grunted in pain.

"I got in a big fight,lots of guys against me...are you hurt?"

"No i was in the back because i was doing healing,"i explained.Romeo nodded,he looked around me."Where's Kasai?"asked Romeo.I shrugged,he would be around here somewhere."Hes here somewhere,i'll go look for him,"i said.

"Okay i'll probably go back to our room then when i can."

"Yeah if i find him soon i'll meet you there,"i responded.Romeo kissed my cheek and i stood up to go find Kasai.I began asking people,weirdly enough no one had seen my son.I was beginning to worry,he was so young.Surely he wasn't caught up in the fight?

No,he wouldn't have been.I sighed in relief as i saw Kai on the ground.I walked over,"hey where's Kasai?You had him?"i asked.Kai looked at me,then i realised the extent of what happened.His whole body was covered in deep terrible wounds.Ones that would scar.

"I'm sorry Wendy...he used magic and i couldn't move...he has your son..."

"I want to go back now!That's my son he has!"

I was biting my nails,why was this happening to me?I looked around,everything was a blur.I felt sick to my stomach,a little flutter in my stomach.I couldn't do this right now,today couldn't be real and all i had to do was punch myself right?

"We can't go back!Everyone is too injured we cannot risk killing people!"

"We can't risk killing people who are fit and strong if they rest for a few hours?What about my son who is a child and has no means of defending himself!"

"You heard us Romeo we cannot go after Kasai!"

"Kasai is my son and i need him back!How would you feel if they took your kid huh?Would you like it?I'm getting my son back whether or not you like it!"

"If you leave this island there will be big consequences you cannot take the whole guild on!"

"What consequences are worse then me sitting around doing nothing while they kill my son!"

I froze.

"Kill?"

I looked up,Romeo sighed."What do you mean killed?"i asked.Romeo looked at me,then at Erza and Jellal.He lifted up his shirt,revealing large scars."Each scar on my back is a scar from his magic.He said i die or my son dies,"said Romeo.

"I could handle his magic somehow,i feed off of your life source Wendy.Kasai doesn't have that,he will be killed if we don't get there soon.We need to leave now or he will be dead."

"I can't let you do that Romeo,i'm sorry."

I looked between them,i felt anger bubble in my stomach."Your telling me you'll let my son die?"i asked,quietly.My voice was a whisper in the wind."I'll kill him myself!"i yelled,i grabbed a jacket and walked out of the tent.

"Wendy!Wendy!"

I couldn't hear anything as i walked out,people were trying to sleep.I didn't care,wings sprouted from my back.From anger,they were white.Silver,like Grandeeney.I shivered,then with one strong flutter i was off into the sky.
