Chapter Ten

After the two torturous days on the train,we'd finally arrived in Crocus.Currently sitting around a table was Team A,which consisted of Romeo and I,Cana and two relatively new members of Fairy Tail-Sasuki and Katsue.We were being told the rules of this year and any other relevant information.

"Tomorrow is the first set of games.You won't be playing until after the third round,a two vs two.You can discuss who you want to fight overnight,but make sure to put the names down by tomorrow morning."

Everyone nodded,then the man left."So whose gonna fight?Its gotta be a team of two.Either you two,Katsue and Sasuki or Wendy and Romeo,"said Cana.I looked at Cana,"you know your capable of fighting with someone too,"said Romeo.Cana laughed and shook her head,"I do single fights only buddy.Plus you guys have your flow,"said Cana.I couldn't argue with that.After ten or so minutes,we all went out own ways.

Romeo grabbed my hand,pulling me outside."Okay,so when we walked here I saw an ice cream place,"said Romeo suddenly.I smiled,then he kissed my cheek taking it as a yes."Okay so what flavour am I getting you?"asked Romeo as we walked down the street.As we walked,i admired all the beautiful buildings.I thought for a moment,then glanced over at him.He was looking down at me,a grin plastered on his face.

"I've been having the biggest craving of coconut recently.If there's coconut I'll have that,if not...caramel swirl."

Romeo laughed,"why are you craving coconut?"asked Romeo.I shrugged,I wasn't sure either.As we got closer to the building,i felt more and more nauseous. By the time we stopped,i needed to either throw up or sit down."I need to sit down.I feel really sick,"i said.Romeo looked at me,worry glazed his eyes.He pulled me over to a chair,then forced me to sit."Just stay here,ill get a water too.I shouldn't be too long,"said Romeo.I nodded,giving him a smile.He walked away and i leaned back.I let out a sigh,why did i feel so sick suddenly?I put a hand on my stomach,rubbing it slowly.I felt someone looking at me,i turned my head to the side.

Three people were in fact looking at me,where did i know those faces?My heart dropped to my stomach when i realised i'd seen them before,on the island.Romeo and I had fought them,they sailed away on the ship.My heart started beating faster and faster,i couldn't just start a fight in the middle of the city!I watched as a crowd walked past,i tried looking between the large group of people but i couldn't see them.Once the crowd passed i noticed they were gone.I looked up and down the street,glued to the seat.I could easily take them on,but i was hesitant. I was sick to the point of feeling dizzy while sitting down.I jumped when i felt someones hand on my shoulder.

"Hey!It's just me!"

I looked up and saw Romeo,"i think i just saw some of the dark guild members,"i said.Romeo looked at me with wide eyes,then he turned around to check behind him.Then he walked out further,looking up and down the street.He turned back to me,"did they say anything to you?How many?"asked Romeo,he sat down opposite me."No they were looking at me...and three of them,"i replied.Romeo frowned and passed me a water bottle.I thanked him and took a few sips,then sighed."I feel really dizzy and i'm tired, probably imagined it was them,"i said.Romeo was still frowning,but eventually agreed.A lady walked over with two bowls,placing them down.

"I figured you wouldn't wanna walk and eat it,hence we are sitting down."

I smiled,then took a bite of the icy treat.I sighed,"I just don't understand why i feel so sick,"i admitted.Romeo shrugged,eating a spoonful of ice cream."Period maybe?"asked Romeo,i shook my head.I was going to get it around the seventh.Then,i told him that.Romeo looked at me with a raised eyebrow,"it's the sixteenth,"said Romeo.I stayed silent,was it the sixteenth?I looked inside and saw a calendar,the little cross covering the sixteenth day.How could i not notice that?"Right...i'm sure its nothing,"i replied.Romeo nodded his head.I couldn't stop thinking about it.Was it nothing?

I flushed the toilet and wiped my mouth again,then i washed my face.I looked in the mirror,standing behind me was Romeo.I looked down at the sink,he came up behind me.He wrapped his arms around me,putting his head between my shoulder and neck."You've thrown up six times since we went to bed and its four thirty,"said Romeo.I shrugged,then he frowned,kissing my cheek."You can shrug your shoulders,somethings wrong with you.You're sick and dizzy and you said you've had a bad stomach ache!"said Romeo.I sighed,running a hand through my hair.Then i looked down at my stomach,wondering what i did to annoy my internal organs.

"I'm just bloated or something,see?"

I lifted up Romeos shirt,revealing my stomach.It was usually flat,but over the past few weeks towards the bottom it had grown.Romeo raised an eyebrow,"you do not look bloated,"said Romeo.I threw my hands in the air,unsure of what to do.Romeo took a deep breath,as he did i felt sick again.Romeo sighed,watching me as i swayed."Come here,"said Romeo.I stepped towards him,then he scooped me up.I leaned against his chest,then he laid me down.I felt the covers get pulled over us.

I leaned into Romeo,waiting for the sick feeling to leave."Maybe we shouldn't compete,"said Romeo.I shook my head,if we pulled out last minute it was an automatic win to the other team and there was no way we'd start the games off like that."I'll be fine,"i replied.Romeo pressed his lips against the top of my head,threading his fingers through my hair."I know,i'm just worried,"said Romeo.I nodded,understanding how he felt.

"I'm just worried because you're never this sick and you're fine you just have these spells of sickness and vomiting and feeling dizzy.I feel bad because i can't do much,which sucks by the way.I care about you and its hard watching someone you love throw up and the smell of oranges and any other citrus."

I sat up,"did you say someone you love?"i asked.Romeo suddenly tensed up,he looked at me.There was an unsure look in his eyes."Do you love me?"i asked,Romeo sat up next to me.I watched as goosebumps covered his bare chest.He scratched his neck,"well...yeah...i do love you,"said Romeo hesitantly. My heart suddenly glowed with warmth,i smiled and looked down at my lap.I tucked hair behind my ear,"i love you too,"i replied.Romeo perked up,then with an evil grin he pushed me down.He kissed all over my face and neck."Why?'i asked,giggling.

"Because!We've never said it before!"

I laughed as he continued to kiss my face,then eventually he kissed my lips.I kissed him back,my hands on his cheeks.Romeo pulled back,then pulled me with him as he laid down."Okay if we're gonna fight in a few hours we need to sleep,"said Romeo.I laughed in agreement,then Romeo pulled me close to him.I put my head on his chest,eventually falling asleep.
