"Maybe i'm just getting nervous but is this actually a good idea?"

Lucy laughed and placed a little pin in my hair. "Why would it be a bad idea?" asked Lucy. I wasn't sure what was going through my mind other than that i was nervous, I mean who wouldn't be?

"No i'm not... i'm not getting cold feet i love Romeo I do, but i just can't... are we even adults?"

Lucy laughed again, she braided her hair gently down the side. "You actually don't ever feel like your an adult, but you are. I mean you have a kid," said Lucy. I sighed, she was right. I'm an adult, no longer a teenager fooling around for missions and some quick cash.

I had to grow up quickly, especially being a dragon slayer of course but even then . . . I didn't feel ready to be doing this. I didn't feel ready to be walking down an isle, i stared at the ring of my finger. The stones lit up brilliantly in the light and i couldn't help but get more nervous.

My dress was on, my shoes were on, jewellery and hair and make up all done! Yet i stared at the little ring on my finger and i was still so... nervous. My stomach was bubbling with anxiety and i couldn't stop moving around. It got to a point when Levy almost held my legs to the ground to stop me from bouncing them.

I let out a deep breath and relaxed myself, it was okay and i knew it was going to be okay. I looked around the room at the girls getting ready, mostly just fixing up hair and putting shoes on. Their dresses were all light blue and glimmering in the sun shining through.

"Do you girls mind if i have a second alone?"

The girls rushed out in a matter of seconds, clearly understanding that i really needed seconds to myself. From this day on i was forever bound to Romeo. Obviously that happened when we had mated but it doesn't change the fact that this was legal, this was their relationship. It was no longer partner, it was husband.

I couldn't help myself from thinking of all our memories from the past. I remembered the day Romeo suggested moving in and splitting the cost of renting the house, i had told him he was dreaming and then not a week later i had taken him up on his offer. I ran my hands over the bed sheets. The bed contained so many memories.

The day they moved in.

I laid down on the sheets, giggling at Romeo who flopped next to me." See this! Whole house! To ourselves! We can stay up late, order take out whenever we want!" said Romeo, his excitement clearly overwhelming him. I laughed some more and rolled to face him. We were in his room, the sun shining on us both.

Boxes surrounded us, clothes on the ground and things partially unpacked and shelves and desks still yet to be built. The three bedroom home was theirs! So far it felt like the biggest accomplishment I had achieved of course, owning a house was a big deal.

"You know we can build a pillow fort, we can make breakfast for dinner and dinner for breakfast!"

He was like a kid in a lolly shop!I giggled and spread my arms out, he wasn't wrong though. This was theirs and it was like their baby," We have so much to unpack," I exclaimed. I was exhausted already hauling both mine and Romeos stuff here.

I glanced across at Romeo who was laying on his side, his shirt rolled up so that i could see his bare stomach. H had grown his hair out pretty long and it was dangling over his eyes, he seemed so relaxed and calm. "Let's have a nap, first on of many in this house!"Joked Romeo.

I laughed, i wanted so badly to curl up in the sheets and just sleep away the afternoon. I went to sit up but an arm pulled me back down. My waist was pulled back and into Romeos chest,he held me until i relaxed and eventually he was right. The warm sun drifted me to sleep.
