"Are you sure they won't notice a crazy hot Brit sneaking into the campus?"

"Don't flatter yourself James, this is France. Everyone is hot."

"You're right. And you're sure I have no one to worry about?"

"Lori scares them all away."

"Should I be worried about meeting your friends?"

"You should be shitting yourself."

James laughed as his girlfriend continued walking through the halls of the Beauxbâtons castle.

It was one of the most beautiful places James had ever seen and he almost felt guilty for violating the security procedures to see his girlfriend. Almost.

It didn't even look like a school, it looked like it was suited for royalty.

Where Hogwarts's beauty lay in the darkness and mystery of the castle, this one was all light and soft hues.

The walls were decorated with wallpaper that looked hand-painted and the ceilings donned portraits that moved, much like those of Hogwarts.

James had to admit that someone staring down on him was very intimidating.

"I'm not kidding James."

"Don't fret Darling, everyone loves me. And soon Lani and Saywer will too."

"Lori and Sadie, you fool. And Lori will absolutely eat you alive without a second thought."

"I love it when you talk dirty to me."

"You're gross" August shoved him lightly as they walked side-by-side.

She had been positively glowing with excitement since James sent her a letter saying that the Marauders had found a way into the castle and that he would see her on Saturday.

On Saturdays all students were transported to the nearby village, actually very far since they were in the Pyrenees mountains, so the castle was empty except for students who wanted to stay back and catch up on academics.

August wished that Lori and Sadie would've gone too, so that she could have their dorm too herself. But the two friends insisted that they had to finally meet (and possibly get rid) of James Potter.

All August wanted to do was crawl into her bed with the boy and eat strawberries stolen from the cuisine.

August reached the Papillonlisse common room.

The common room was adorned with plush, dark purple couches that were sprawled around a white marble fireplace. Large windows overlooked the school grounds and in the distance James could see a row of greenhouses.

James spun around in the completely empty common room, "So, you're in the purple house."

"It's not the purple house, I'm in Papillonlisse."

"You'll have to elaborate doll, is it Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw. Merlin, don't tell me you're a Slytherin."

"I don't know what any of those are." August replied confused and concerned that her boyfriend might be going mad.

"Okay, what's your house's main trait." James made himself comfortable on a white loveseat, "These are so comfortable" he groaned.

"Well, we're known for our kindness, artistic ability and maturity." She sat down next to him and threw her legs over his lap.

"Hufflepuff." James sighed in relief. "I don't know how I could've expected anything else. Your crest is a butterfly." He chuckled and pointed to the large banner hanging by the entrance.

"Who are the Hufflepuffs?"

James drew tiny shapes on her calves and looked smug as he saw the goosebumps rise on her arms, "They're the gentle souls, they're house color is yellow, ironic because you hate yellow."

"Purple's much nicer." She muttered.

James hummed as he captured her lips in a kiss. He had gone two weeks without kissing her, which in his opinion should've been illegal.

Her lips were soft and warm against his and her lips parted slightly to allow his tongue to slip inside.

James moved their bodies so that August was lying underneath him and his hands were moving up and down her sides, basking in the feeling of being close to her again.

He felt her foot trail up his trousers and let out a deep moan.

"That's hardly appropriate behavior August Williams."

The two sprang apart and in August's haste her knee hit a very sensitive area on James's body.

"Oh fuck." The boy groaned as he doubled over on the floor.

"Oh Godric, are you okay?" August held her hands over her mouth to hide the smile gracing her lips.

"I know you're laughing so stop trying to hide it." James groaned. "This is worse than the bludger in fifth year."

"Your boyfriend's a wuss."

"Lori, you can't say that!" August cried. "I hit him in the nuts!"

"So what, we bleed every month for days straight and we don't make a fuss" she beckoned to James who was cradling his lower region.

"Wha- I- Lori!" August said bashfully, red making its way up her neck.

Taking the opportunity of a free seat, Lori plopped down next to August and Sadie chose her favorite purple chair with the tasseled white pillow.

"What, James doesn't know you get your period?"

"Well of course he knows, just, I-"
August stammered.

"He's seen you naked August, if anything he should be glad you still get it." Sadie laughed.

"I am glad." James said, wincing as he sat down on the big armchair and sending a wink at August.

"I thought you guys were supposed to be Hufflepuffs?"

"What's a Hufflepuffs?" Sadie inquired.

"It's a house at Hogwarts." James stretched his legs out onto the coffee table. "They're the nice ones."

"We're not the nice ones, we strive towards beauty of the mind and the appearance." Lori said sternly.

"Told you she wouldn't take his shit." Sadie whispered across the room to August.

"A girl can dream." August shrugged her shoulders and rested her head on Lori's shoulders.

James looked at her wistfully.

"Okay Potter, it's no secret I don't like you."

"Really, couldn't tell."

"It's rude to interrupt, I am however, willing to put aside my utter dislike of you and the bad vibes you give me, to make Augie happy. That's all I want for her, and if you so much as hurt a hair on her little blonde head I will Stupefy you and hide you in a cupboard with a boggart."

"Yeah." Sadie chorused "And I got into a brawl once so you should be very afraid of me."

"I wouldn't dream of hurting a hair on her little blonde head, right Augie?"

"Don't call her Augie." Sadie hissed. "That's our way of bullying her."

"What lovely friends I have, off we go James."

August gave each girl a la bise before dragging James out of the common room and into an abandoned storage cupboard.
