How did you discover Wattpad?

My girlfriend had it so I had a look and saw it was quite cool, so carried on reading stuff and now I love it.

How long have you had Wattpad, and how often do you use it?

 I have no idea, probably about a year or something.

Is there a meaning behind your username?

 Yes there is, its the first half of my first and last name. FRAZer CHAPman.

Why did you start writing? What age did you discover your love for it?

 I was feeling down and wanted to write something so I started writing. I discovered it now really, at 14.

Who are you favourite authors? What are your favourite books? (Books on Wattpad count too!) What is your favourite genre?

 My favourite authors probably are Lee Child, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and George RR Martin. Favourite books are Game of Thrones and the Jack Reacher series'. Favourite genre is probably crime/horror.

Do you want a career in writing?

 
I have absolutely no idea what I want to do for a career but that would be quite cool to do.

Who supports you the most in your writing?

 My friends on Wattpad support me the most

What is your book called? What genre is it? What is it about (2/3 lines)?

 One of my books, my only book, is called The Attempt. Its genre is realistic fiction. The book is about a boy call Elvis Justus who is battling depression and he tells you about how many suicide attempts he has carried out and why he does them.

What inspired you to write it?

 As I said I was not feeling good and just wanted to write. I wanted to write about how I felt but not directly about me.

How often do you update? When was it last updated?

 
I tried updating every day but I haven't updated since 3 days ago.

How long are your chapters? Do you think short or long chapters are better?

 They are quite short chapters because that is pretty much my limit. But I think short chapters are better because it doesn't overwhelm the reader.

Are you proud of how well your book has done? Are you happy with the amount of reads it has?

 I really am happy about the amount of reads it has, about 150 so far. It's not the best amount but still I think it's ok.

Do you have any advice for new authors?

Not really because I am one myself.

This is another one of my close friends. He has only started writing recently after a mix of events that happened between our group of friends. His book is rather upsetting, but the storyline is good and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys that genre!
