How did you discover Wattpad?

It's a long story, actually. I was stalking my old friend because we used to be so close and I missed her a lot. I used to check her Quizilla (RIP that website) if she's online but I was able to find her Wattpad. Originally, I used this account to see her updates but I realised that I can't leave this account empty so I decided to write stories. Most of my stories I've written before are now deleted.
How long have you had Wattpad, and how often do you use it?

I've been in Wattpad since October 15, 2012. I didn't write anything until 20th. I didn't except anyone to care about my stories. I've used it a lot to interact with my followers, make my own book covers, and I check my stories every now and then in case there are mistakes, y'know? I don't want to bug my followers whenever they read my stories.
Is there a meaning behind your username?

The meaning behind my username was inspired from the character in Marvel called Captain America. I am not a marvel fan but I did encountered a few fan fictions about him because I was trying to role-play him. For awkward, I am an awkward person and I enjoy living in my own bubble. Alas! CaptainAwkward was born!

Why did you start writing? What age did you discover your love for it?

I started writing when I was 12. I don't recall what and why I've written before but I remembered there was a writing competition and I was interested in it. I didn't win any trophies but I won a really gorgeous certificate. I was 14 when I discovered I fell in love with writing.

Who are you favourite authors? What are your favourite books? (Books on Wattpad count too!) What is your favourite genre?

My favourite authors has to be J.K Rowling and Mitch Albom. For Fanfiction.net, it has to be a.mild.groove. For books, there are a lot of books I enjoyed reading but most of all, Five people you meet in heaven by Mitch Albom. Nothing beats more than a very sad heartbreaking story. My favourite genre are romance, fantasy, fan fiction and fictional stories.

Do you want a career in writing?

To be honest, I think of writing as a hobby. I only write for fun. I don't think I'll ever be a successful writer. I did hear that you can publish books in real life because of Wattpad.

Who supports you the most in your writing?

My followers, friends and my boyfriend. They are amazing people. I appreciated them for being there for me. *holds cardboard sign saying I love you!*

Choose one of your books:

What is your book called? What genre is it? What is it about (2/3 lines)?

'How much do you love me?' Is a romance and fan fictional genre. It was about animatronics have their life given by someone mysterious. They were able to be one of the humans. Thus, they have emotions and feelings. An animatronic rabbit fell in love with an animatronic chicken.

What inspired you to write it?

I really love romance and shipping the characters from a indie horror game! I thought It'll be perfect to make a story about them. <3
How often do you update? When was it last updated?

I update once a week or maybe once every two weeks because I have 2 ongoing stories so I get to update each books one by one. I would never leave my story hanging. I mostly update my status to let my followers know when I'll publish my story so they wouldn't think I canceled it.
How long are your chapters? Do you think short or long chapters are better?

My stories are approximately 3-4 pages long. I made them longer because I don't like leaving my chapters hanging until the next chapter. It can get frustrating. I believe long chapters are better. It gives more depth to see where the stories are going. Unlike short chapters. They are choppy and I get impatient whenever I wait for the next chapter.
Are you proud of how well your book has done? Are you happy with the amount of reads it has?

Yes! I am absolutely proud of my book. After the organisation with the incoming chapters. I can finally rest with ease rather than stress out and ruin the book. I am happy with the amount of views I have. It feels like people are taking interest with my story.

Do you have any advice for new authors?

Yes I do. Hello new authors! Welcome to the place of writing where you post out your imaginations! My top two advices are always put a cover page in your book because it gives attention to readers. It's okay if it's not a good cover. I've encountered okay looking covers with amazing stories in it. Remember, don't judge a book by its cover. Lastly, always remember to interact with your followers. For example, when you see somebody following you or receiving a lot of votes from the specific person, take a minute to send them a nice message. It's nice how you acknowledge their presence because you took your time to send them a message, from the way they took theirs to read your book.

This author has a very original style of writing. Although I am not in any of the same fandoms as them, I did enjoy reading their books! The writing is of good quality (with the exception of a few grammatical errors) but I recommend them to everyone!
