How did you discover Wattpad?
I discovered wattpad on play store actually. While searching for free book apps wattpad popped up in the results and just as soon as I saw the logo I knew that I had to create an account.
How long have you had Wattpad, and how often do you use it?
I've had wattpad for a few months now if from September last year counts for a few months haha! I use it every single day ever since I got an account to be honest and it is coming across as an unhealthy obsession now.
Is there a meaning behind your username?
Yes there is. Well it means to basically reach for the sky or to always aim for the best.
Why did you start writing? What age did you discover your love for it?
I started writing after a teacher told me that I had the potential after reading a short story of mine. right about then, I was also inspired by a story I was reading called War Horse. I started writing from 10 or 11 years although my preferred genres have changed quite a bit.
Who are you favourite authors? What are your favourite books? (Books on Wattpad count too!) What is your favourite genre?
My favourite author is Michael Morpurgo, Christopher Paolini, Jeff Kinney, Brandon Mull, Jeffrey Archer, Agatha Christie, Dan Brown and gosh, the list will just go on and on! My favourite book is War Horse and on wattpad, I think it should be this story called Saving Elliot. And my favourite genre is teen fiction and mystery as of now but I have this problem of not being able to forget stories I've read when I was younger .
Do you want a career in writing?
Not really. I want to continue writing as a hobby or a side career.
Who supports you the most in your writing?
My family entirely supports me especially my mom and sister.

Choose one of your books:
What is your book called? What genre is it? What is it about (2/3 lines)?
My story is called A Chase For The Sky. And it is about chasing dreams and following your heart just as the protagonist tries to do. She tries to become a writer.
The genre is teen fiction.
What inspired you to write it?
Well I was facing a lot of questions from around me on what I would like to do with my life. that's when the thought of having a lot of competition hit me. I knew that if I wanted to get a job it was necessary to face the competition. That's how this idea for a book came to me.
How often do you update? When was it last updated?
I don't really have a schedule, I write as I get the ideas or the plot becomes clear in my head. I've tried but failed, so I just don't keep one anymore. The last time I updated was about a month ago, pretty long, yes, but I've been doing a lot of editing, and exams didn't help either.
How long are your chapters? Do you think short or long chapters are better?
My chapters are generally about 8 wattpad pages or about 50 words. It's rather long when you're looking for something easier to read. Because on wattpad people want to read things fast you know? So I'm planning to divide them into two. Also for writers long chapters can be very tough work. Sitting down and editing is tough work! Especially when it's long chapters! But for readers depending on your story a long chapter would be lovely. But like I said before some readers may get bored so it's best if we don't drag it on for too long.
Are you proud of how well your book has done? Are you happy with the amount of reads it has?
Well I'm still in the initial stages of my story and this is really my first serious book. Its bound to have a lot of flaws and so I'd be happy with even one faithful reader. I'm happy with the current reads I have although a few more wouldn't hurt just to know that people actually read it.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
All I have to say is to write. Never have a second thought about it. Writing is one of those things anyone can do, -you dont have to be a grammar expert-, if you have the will to write. Even if it's only your thoughts, write it down because you never know just who you could inspire. write as your heart desires, and reads will come along the way.
I have nothing but raise for this author's book. I loved the storyline and the characters. I cannot find a fault with the book, and recommend it to everyone! Go and check it out!
