How long have you had Wattpad, and how often do you use it?

1) I've had Wattpad for about a year now and I use it almost everyday. Usually the days I don't use it I'm super busy with extracurricular activities, but I can definitely say I get on it almost every day.

Is there a meaning behind your username?

2) My username is pretty simple. It's just the name that everyone calls me and my last initial.

Why did you start writing? What age did you discover your love for it?

3) I started writing because one of my best friends had told me that she was starting a book, so I thought it'd be cool to do that too. I'd always had a thing for writing, all my teachers kept telling me I was such a great writer and that I was going to accomplish great things, but it wasn't until I Turned twelve and started writing my first story that I discovered how much I loved to write.

Who are you favourite authors? What are your favourite books? (Books on Wattpad count too!) What is your favourite genre?

4) I'd have to say that my favorite author off of Wattpad would either be J.K Rowling or John Green. My favorite books would have to be The Fault In Our Stars, Harry Potter, Paper Towns, and Divergent. I absolutely love The Fault In Our Stars it's one of my most favorite books ever. I just love the story line and the way it was written. The same thing goes for Harry Potter. It's just one of my most favorite books ever. It makes me feel like I actually belong to Hogwarts too. (Even though I still haven't gotten my letter yet. :P)

I'd have to say that my favorite book of all time on Wattpad would have to be The Bad Boy's Girly by Jessgirl93. It is the single most amazing book on the planet. The characters are absolutely perfect and I love the way it's written. The author is so perfect and they way she describes everything is just able to make you feel exactly what she wants you too. I don't know why, but my favorite genre would have to be Romance. I just love them so much. They're so cute. Although I do love it when they're romantic action packed thrillers. That just adds to their awesomeness.

Do you want a career in writing?

5) I've thought about it quite a bit after one of my readers suggested that I get my book published, but I don't know if I'd want to make a full time career out of it. A part writing career would be just amazing because there other jobs that I'd enjoy to do too. And besides I love writing, but I don't think I'd be able to write every single day. Sometimes I just get stuck and get frustrated.

Who supports you the most in your writing?

6) I would have to say my parents. They're always encouraging me to continue writing even when I feel like I should just stop and they always bug about whether or not I've finished my books yet, so yeah I'd have to say my mom and dad. They're anxious to read my writing.

Choose one of your books:

What is your book called? What genre is it? What is it about (2/3 lines)?

My books name is My Brother's Best Friend. It is a Romance/Teen Fiction book and although the book title sounds a bit cliché it is most definitely NOT like the other books with the similar title.

My Brother's Best Friend is about a girl named Mallie who meets a boy named Jared (Her Brother's Best Friend.) It describes their various troubles and the things they have to go through in order to be together.

What inspired you to write it?

Well, whenever I read a book and I didn't agree with how it ended. I would always picture what would happen to the characters if the book had ended the way I wanted it too. And then one day I thought if I don't like the way the book ended then I should just write a book and end it the way I want it to end.

How often do you update? When was it last updated?

I usually try to update at least once a week, but my story hasn't been updated since last week since I just completed it.

How long are your chapters? Do you think short or long chapters are better?

I try to make my chapters relatively long that way readers have a lot to read, so that it makes up for me not being able to update very frequently. Towards the end of the story though the chapters get shorter because it goes along with how the story goes.

Are you proud of how well your book has done? Are you happy with the amount of reads it has?

Actually, with about the first ten chapters I'm not very happy with them because when I first started the book I didn't really pour all my heart and soul into it because I never thought I'd get as many reads as I've gotten, (Almost 40K by now) but after my books reads started increasing I realized that people actually liked my book and if I wanted more reads I was going to have to start pouring everything I had into the book and that's just what I did.

Do you have any advice for new authors?

Don't let others put you down. There's always going to be people who have negative things to say about your writing, you just have to hold your head up high and keep going.

Just never give up. There's always that moment in your life when you feel like the easiest thing to do is give up, but you just have to keep going because you'll get there eventually.

I quite like this author. Her book, My Brother's Best Friend, is great and really well written. Although it has a slightly cliche love story, it's not totally predictable and I recommend it to people who are into books like that!
