How did you discover Wattpad?
Through another website. I don't remember exactly which one but I do know that it wasn't a writing site. One of the members posted a topic asking if anyone had a Wattpad. I decided to check out and now here I am.
How long have you had Wattpad, and how often do you use it?
I've been on Wattpad for two years. I've been much more active recently and am online pretty much every day.
Is there a meaning behind your username?
Well Linz is just a variation on my name (Lindsey). 3958 actually corresponds to a character idea I once had where the character was cursed to speak in numbers. I came up with a system for how he would speak and 3958 also translates to "Linz". I may actually revive this character sometime soon.
Why did you start writing? What age did you discover your love for it?
I started writing because I had ideas in my head and it seemed like I just needed to get them out. I don't remember exactly when I discovered my love of writing but it was definitely by the age of 10.
Who are you favourite authors? What are your favourite books? (Books on Wattpad count too!) What is your favourite genre?
I do not have a favorite author but the Harry Potter series contains some of my favorite books. I enjoy most genres and do not have a favorite.
Do you want a career in writing?
No. I'm merely one who writes for fun. I'm actually hoping to be a a veterinarian someday.
Who supports you the most in your writing?
I have a friend who also writes and she has been my biggest supported over the years.

Choose one of your books:
What is your book called? What genre is it? What is it about (2/3 lines)?
King Me. It's listed as General Fiction.
The book is about a young woman who is forced to confront her past while searching for her brother. She had lost touch with him several years before the start of the story and is determined to track him down.
What inspired you to write it?
I came up with my main character and I kind of fell in love with her. I knew I wanted to write her a story and have known so for a couple years, but it took me time to come up with one.
How often do you update? When was it last updated?
The story is actually complete. It says it was last updated 5 months ago but I actually recently finished a total revision so it was that was a very recent update.
How long are your chapters? Do you think short or long chapters are better?
My chapters range from 1000-3000 words. Normally the fall around 1500. I don't think there is an ideal chapter length--it depends on content and when the ending of a chapter naturally falls.
Are you proud of how well your book has done? Are you happy with the amount of reads it has?
I would really love to hit quadruple digits, but honestly I'm very proud of each read that my book gains. I used to just write in a notebook where no one was reading but me. If even one person takes a read of my book then I've accomplished something. So I'm content--but I won't lie, I could be happier.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Just write. Don't worry about getting everything write or having a good plot or characters or any of those things. It will come with time, practice, and experience. Be proud of your work, even if it doesn't seem very good it's a step toward becoming the writer that you will someday be--if you want to.
I liked the concept of this author's book and the story really drew me in. The characters were likable, something that you don't find in all books, and the story wasn't too far fetched and balanced everything well. I really recommend them!
