How did you discover Wattpad?
I discovered Wattpad via my best friend, who introduced me to the website. Prior to being on here, I was an active member of Quotev - another website similar to this.
How long have you had Wattpad, and how often do you use it?
I joined on January 3rd 2014, so I am quite old in comparison to many new readers. Initially, I was on here non-stop, but now I have other commitments so am rather inactive and online infrequently.
Is there a meaning behind your username?
I have gone through many user names throughout my time on wattpad. Currently, I am "ElectricDreamCatcher".
Why did you start writing? What age did you discover your love for it?
I started writing in 2014, after a tragic and fatal accident occurred within my school. I incorporated this into one of my book - Emails To No One - and found that writing became a good coping mechanism for things in my life. During some darker times, I have found comfort in writing but now I usually do it for fun. Many of my stories are based on things I have experienced or my friends, so I frequently use extracts from what I have written for my friends.
Who are you favourite authors? What are your favourite books? (Books on Wattpad count too!) What is your favourite genre?
On Wattpad, I love "One Of The Boys" and "Project Fat Suit" - both of which are rather old stories. I was a die-hard fangirl at one stage so also have read a huge variety of fanfictions. Currently, I am reading many science based books (e.g. Notes on Nursing by Florence Nightingale) in preparation for my university applications.
Do you want a career in writing?
Definitely not. I write purely for fun, and I aspire to work in medicine or a field of medical science. I don't even study an humanity or English-based subjects!
Who supports you the most in your writing?
My friends. Most importantly, EarlGreyDrinker has been here from the start and never failed to inspire me. Several other friends form the inspiration for my characters and I know that they'll always have my back. Additionally, I have to thank my fans for always supporting me and reading my works.

Choose one of your books:
What is your book called? What genre is it? What is it about (2/3 lines)?
"This is even more than anyone you love can adore" is a sort-of romance story where each chapter can stand alone but reading them together can form a story. Nicknamed "The story of the narrator and the girl", it is a tale of a relationship between an unknown narrator and a girl, to which we don't actually know anything except from the simple fact the narrator loves the girl.
What inspired you to write it?
I guess my friends, as you can find aspects of them in every part of the girl's character. The sense of ambiguity was something I've wanted experiment with for a long time. There are also some parts inspired by Rainbow Rowell's Fangirl, where two of the character write an "anti-love story".
How often do you update? When was it last updated?
I wish I could update more often but I simply don't have the time. I think it was last update a few months ago.... As I mentioned earlier, I am quite inactive due to my education beinf my main priority so am pushed to fine time to write.
How long are your chapters? Do you think short or long chapters are better?
My chapters are a minimum of 1000 words. I find anything less to be rather impractical as it takes about 300 words for me to get into the chapter and if the chapter itself is less than 1000 then it's over as you begin. Chapters between about 1000-5000 are the best length for me, as I find long chapters rather tedious.
Are you proud of how well your book has done? Are you happy with the amount of reads it has?
The narrator and the girl has just under 100 reads, as of today (Feb 2017), which I am happy with. I don't really write for reads, I do is as an enjoyable hobby. In total, I have over 20,000 readers which I am still shocked about and I cannot believe the vast quantities of people interesting in my fictional creations.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
I think the main point is to not give up. Hard work, dedication, perseverance and a positive attitude is the key to all success. Sometimes, promoting your work will help gain an audience. I think, also, write what you enjoy writing about - that cannot be stressed enough. Make the story your own. And finally, good luck!
