How did you discover Wattpad?

I was told about Wattpad by a friend of mine on fanfiction.net.

How long have you had Wattpad, and how often do you use it?

I have been on Wattpad for four months now. I go on it multiple times every day.

Is there a meaning behind your username?

My fanfiction.net username is sandydragon. Since that was taken here already, I settled for what I have now.

Why did you start writing? What age did you discover your love for it?

I initially started writing because it gave me something productive to do with my Naruto obsession. Now I write because it is my passion. I discovered my love for writing when I was 13.

Who are you favorite authors? What are your favorite books? (Books on Wattpad count too!) What is your favorite genre?

My favorite authors are E. E. Knight, Ray Bradbury, Robin Hobb, Orson Scott Card, and Erin Hunter. My favorite books are Ender’s Game, Dragon Outcast, and City of Dragons. My favorite genre is either Science Fiction or Fantasy.

Do you want a career in writing?

Definitely. I know it won’t be easy, but that’s not going to stop me.

Who supports you the most in your writing?

My mom supports me more than anyone else.

______________

What is your book called? What genre is it? What is it about (2/3 lines)?

My book is called Beastly Little Boy. It is an Adventure story about a ten year old boy who has transformed into a bear after his father’s death. He has to learn how to survive in the Alaskan wilderness while trying to preserve his humanity.

What inspired you to write it?

It is based on a short story I wrote for a class. That story was loosely inspired by the Pleasure Island part of Pinocchio.

How often do you update? When was it last updated?

That depends on my workload, but I always update at least once every two weeks if not every week. It was last updated on Friday night.

How long are your chapters? Do you think short or long chapters are better?

My chapters tend to be two full Wattpad pages. I prefer short chapters, at least on Wattpad. Longer chapters tend to drag on a bit much if the author isn’t careful.

Are you proud of how well your book has done? Are you happy with the amount of reads it has?

I’m very proud of how well it has done so far. I’m happy with the number of reads it has. Needless to say, I am very excited to see it gaining more reads every day.

Do you have any advice for new authors?

The best advice I can give to new authors is to never give up. If you give up on your own stories, then there is absolutely no chance of anyone else having faith in them either.

I really enjoyed this author's style of writing. Their books are very well written and have interesting plots. Although I found their book 'Alphabet Soup' rather abstract, I did enjoy it and thought it was a very clever idea. Check them out!
