How did you discover Wattpad?
I once googled "One Direction Imagines" and I ended up here.
How long have you had Wattpad, and how often do you use it?
I've had Wattpad since a year and a few months. I read stories daily but I update my own story every now and then.
Is there a meaning behind your username?
Not really it's just my real name.
Why did you start writing? What age did you discover your love for it?
I started writing stories and poems at the age of 10. But writing wasn't the most important thing in my life back then. A few months later after I finished my worst story *it was a fanfic about Louis which I deleted*, I wrote a Zerrie fanfic and it wasn't that bad. My Zerrie fanfic had a big fanbase even though the first few chapters were poorly written. But when I saw how much people liked my writing, writing became my everything.
Who are you favourite authors? What are your favourite books? (Books on Wattpad count too!) What is your favourite genre?
My favorite author is Nicholas Cage. My favorite book is Safe Haven. I also adore the Daddy Zayn series by @LittleMissMalik. My favorite genre is Romance.
Do you want a career in writing?
Of course I do!
Who supports you the most in your writing?
I don't know. I think I support myself the most.
_________________________ Choose one of your books: What is your book called? What genre is it? What is it about (2/3 lines)?
My book is called Story of My Life, fan fiction. It's about Zayn Malik getting lost in a forest at the age of 6 and grows up in an orphanage where he meets his 4 best friends. The very first chapters are about them being kids, but the rest of the fan fiction they're teenagers.
What inspired you to write it?
Actually at the beginning, I was just looking for a unique fan fiction to read. I got sick of reading about a singer falling in love with a girl meets in Starbucks. So I decided to come up with a unique plot and write what I want to read.
How often do you update? When was it last updated?
I used to update every Friday. I did that for the first 37 chapters. I decided to take a break from writing. I stopped writing for two months. Last week, I updated. And yesterday, I updated again.
How long are your chapters? Do you think short or long chapters are better?
Some are longs and some are shorts. It depends on what the chapter is about. If a short chapter was eventful and well-written, then it's better than a long chapters that is just a filler.
Are you proud of how well your book has done? Are you happy with the amount of reads it has?
My fanfic has 12.5k reads. But believe it or not, I don't care about the number of reads. I care about votes and comments. But sadly, this fanfic doesn't have readers at all. Deeply Damaged *the story I wrote last year* wasn't that good and as I mentioned earlier, it had a big fanbase. I'm kinda disappointed that I don't have as many readers but hopefully I'll gain some soon.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write for fun and not for fame!
I liked this author's writing style and their books are very well written. However, I couldn't help but feel some chapters were rather monotonous. Nevertheless, I thought the books were very well thought out and recommend them!
