How did you discover Wattpad?

I discovered Wattpad when I was scrolling on Instagram and this guy was talking about his stories there. but I forgot about it until this year when my friend (@TheGirlWasHere) reintroduced me to it and such :)

 

How long have you had Wattpad, and how often do you use it?

I used to read on it before, but I've had an account for three or four months now XD I use 24/7 practically.

 

Is there a meaning behind your username?

heh I was looking for an interesting username in seventh grade and the Internet was like 'put inabox after your name' and I was like yus

 

Why did you start writing? What age did you discover your love for it?

I started writing because I loved reading (thank you Harry Potter!) I started reading legit books in first grade and I've been writing since then :) I took a break around middle school because I was too busy but now I force myself to make time for it <3

 

Who are you favourite authors? What are your favourite books? (Books on Wattpad count too!) What is your favourite genre?

Favorite Author: Lemony Snicket, J.K. Rowling, John Green and Suzanne Collins would probably be my top four

Favorite books: ugh so many to choose from...Harry Potter series (duh), Gregor the Overlander, THE FAULT IN OUR STARS, Series of Unfortunate Events, Artemis Fowl, The Hunger Games, To Kill A Mockingbird, Frankenstein, The Mortal Instruments, Magic Tree House (I can't resist <3) and so many more

Favorite genre: I love action. I love mystery. I love humor. I love random short stories. I love adventure. I love everything basically.

 

Do you want a career in writing?

I would love a career in writing, but it's really not realistic or probable enough :( my parents said if I get a book published before I graduate then I can be an author though :D *fingers crossed*

 

Who supports you the most in your writing?

I support myself heh

What is your book called? What genre is it? What is it about (2/3 lines)?

Green Thumbs

It's humor/romance. it's about a boy and a girl who've been frenemies since they were five years old. The girl (Leah) really likes flowers and planting and such, and well, the boy (Dean) hates it. (spoiler: they end up together)

 

What inspired you to write it?

I was in art and I colored my thumb green and I took a picture of it and it looked hella rad. My thumb is on the cover XD

 

How often do you update? When was it last updated?

I update every Friday. Last update: Last Friday

 

How long are your chapters? Do you think short or long chapters are better?

They're kinda short, and it depends on the story, really, and the frequency of updates.

 

Are you proud of how well your book has done? Are you happy with the amount of reads it has?

 I love my book, and not a lot of people read it but the ones that do are very supportive :)

Do you have any advice for new authors?

Don't be discouraged by lack of support. Just write what you want to write and be happy with it.

This writer's book has a lot of potential and so far it's great. The book is very comical and I love the concept of the story. The only downside is that not much has been published yet.
