How did you discover Wattpad?

I discovered Wattpad by simply looking for some books to read; I was searching through the Apple App Store, and stumbled upon the Wattpad app! Then, I downloaded it and Wattpad then became my whole life.

How long have you had Wattpad, and how often do you use it?

I've had Wattpad on my current account since October 2013, but I had a previous account which was made January of that year. I use Wattpad a lot, but I only increasingly started using it at the start of 2015; I used to be apart of the Arianator fandom on Twitter, but I soon left and instead came to Wattpad.

Is there a meaning behind your username?

There isn't a meaning behind my username, really. I just threw some words together - it was a long time ago - and I have been meaning to change my username, too, but I just won't because then I'd have to get new covers for my stories and also have to announce to everyone my username, which can be a bit of a hassle.

Why did you start writing? What age did you discover your love for it?

I started writing on Wattpad not long ago, infact - at the start of January. I already have three books published. I've loved books my entire life, and I only started to like writing them at the age of 11 - the age of my SATs. There was a task in school, to write a story, and I became so engaged in it, that I decided to write books. (I discovered Wattpad only two years later.)

Who are you favourite authors? What are your favourite books? (Books on Wattpad count too!) What is your favourite genre?

I used to love Rachel Renee Russell's books, Dork Diaries, when I was younger. I had all of the series, and though they are kids' books, they're suitable for teenagers, what with the subjects of romance. Recently, I've been loving John Green's books more - I've finished TFIOS, and am currently reading Looking For Alaska, which is a great book so far. And, the best author, in my opinion, is J.K Rowling. I'm absolutely obsessed with Harry Potter; the books and movies alike! My favourite genre is either humour, or horror; though I don't read horror books on Wattpad a lot, as the covers scare me slightly. xD

Do you want a career in writing?

I do want a career in writing, though I don't think I am able to have one as I have a habit of not finishing books. I write around, say, four or five chapters, and then I just stop, and I'm not motivated to carry on the book. So I don't think it's wise to pursue a career in that area.

Who supports you the most in your writing?

I would say, my friends. As my family have no idea I have Wattpad and that I write stories, but my friends do. They encourage me and i'm glad that they do that. My Wattpad friends included.

Choose one of your books:

What is your book called? What genre is it? What is it about (2/3 lines)?

My book is caled, 'Missing Puzzle Pieces.' It is apart of the genre, Teen Fiction, and it is about a girl, Taylor, on her way to find her soulmate; along with half of her necklace pendant, and her soulmate has the other half.

What inspired you to write it?

The thing that inspired me to write it was two of my friends, that each had a necklace with half of a heart on it, and that would join together; so became the idea of my book.

How often do you update? When was it last updated?

I try to update my book once a week, but sometimes I do get a bit stuck and so the deadline goes up to two weeks after the last update. My story was last updated two days ago.

How long are your chapters? Do you think short or long chapters are better?

My chapters are generally about three Wattpad pages long; my most recent chapter, however, was five pages long. I like short chapters because they cut straight to the point, and are short and snappy, and don't give too much detail, which give the reader begging for more. But long chapters are better; as you want to include a lot of information, but I prefer not too long chapters, if that does make sense?

Are you proud of how well your book has done? Are you happy with the amount of reads it has?

I am proud that, with only four chapters published, my book has over three hundred reads. I'm happy with that, as less as it may seem.

Do you have any advice for new authors?

For new authors, the advice I would have is that you should brush up on your grammar before publishing, as that is a really key ingredient to getting readers. Also, though we all say, 'don't judge a book by it's cover', we all do this, am I right? So if you have a nice cover, good grammar, your story will get some reads - then the next thing is to just take in the criticism you should be getting. Then, all is well.

I really enjoyed reading this author's book. The whole concept is really cool and although I have never been in the same situations as the characters, I felt I could understand and relate to them. The writing is amazing, practically flawless, and the only upsetting thing is that she hasn't written more. I recommend her!!
