How did you discover Wattpad?
Summer after high school I was complaining about my boredom and my best friend told me to get on here to read some stories.
How long have you had Wattpad, and how often do you use it?
I have my wattpad account since August 2013, and I use it every day, most of the times all day!
Is there a meaning behind your username?
Kind of. I wanted it to be cool, and when I thought of this, I started using it in my author's notes. 'This story came to you Through_my_quill'. Honestly, some may find it annoying, but I think it's cool and witty!
Why did you start writing? What age did you discover your love for it?
I started writing because...I felt I had to. I can't explain it, it's just a way for me to express myself and give life to all my daydreams and get the chance to explore different aspects of my personality and look at the world through different perspectives... I learned how to read really early. At about the same time I learned how to write, and I remember writing at a tiny notebook a story about fairies...Ever since, I enjoyed writing, whether it was a story of mine, or just an essay for school.
Who are you favourite authors? What are your favourite books? (Books on Wattpad count too!) What is your favourite genre?
I can't pick a favourite author, there are so many that write amazingly. My favourite books...hmm...for now I'll have to pick Sherlock Holmes (I LOVE him!), Pride and Prejudice, Time of my Life, Alice in Wonderland, and so many others! On Wattpad, I really enjoy the dark series by @LaDameBlanche and again, many others! I love reading all genres, because each one creates different emotions and show you different aspects of the world. However, I love it when they have a deeper meaning that you have to realise yourself, so based on that I guess if I had to I'd pick spiritual.
Do you want a career in writing?
That would be ideal. Yes, I do, it would be my craziest dream come true...
Who supports you the most in your writing?
Two of my best friends that know about it (I'm not really open when it comes to writing) and they keep challenging me and never let me give up. And of course, all of my readers motivate me to keep going.

Choose one of your books:
What is your book called? What genre is it? What is it about (2/3 lines)?
My book is called 'A Bench Story' and it's a spiritual short story. It's about a boy and a girl that meet on a bench, and as they get to know each other, they learn more about themselves and life, too.
What inspired you to write it?
At some point, I just had the idea in my head. And I started daydeaming about it every day, for a long time, until I decided it deserved to be told and someone else besides me know these characters and their story.
How often do you update? When was it last updated?
This story is finished since June. But, usually I update randomly, because I am busy with university, and because I want to be really inspired and give my all to my stories, instead of forcing myself to write a chapter. This doesn't work for me, since I'm rarely really happy with my writing. I do apologise to my readers for taking so long, but I hope the result makes it worth the wait.
How long are your chapters? Do you think short or long chapters are better?
My chapters are usually short/medium, because I don't like forcing myself to write more, and because it's easier to check them. Plus, I'm afraid that really long chapters might tire or bore the readers. However, I can't say some length is better than the other, it solely depends on what works best for each writer.
Are you proud of how well your book has done? Are you happy with the amount of reads it has?
I am very proud of how well my book has done. I still remember the day I got my first read. I was thrilled. Ever since, the fact that I love and appreciate each read, vote, and comment hasn't changed. Every time someone tells me about how they felt reading it, I literally jump up and down. It's an amazing feeling to know that these little numbers you see are actually people who gave your work a chance, and maybe were touched by what you are trying to say.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
The only advice I can give is to stay true to yourselves and your readers. If you force yourself to write something solely to get popular, when it doesn't represent who you are and what you're trying to say, it won't work. And even if it does, I think you won't be happy writing anymore. When you decide to start a story, give it your best and have fun, and I'm sure everything will be fine.
I love this author! Her books are so original and her style of writing is amazing and I love them!
