"Scaramouche? who the heck-"

"What was he doing snooping around with treasure hoarders?" he was leaving you confused, it was getting irritating, "hey! who the heck is Scaramouche?!" your outburst made Klee jump and surprise spread across his face.

"i..sorry, the traveler, Lumine told me about him after she met him during the meteor shower, he was friendly at first however he is dangerous and hides a malicious intent" although that answered some of your questions, it left a few unanswered "ok but, who IS he, and he mentioned something about being interested in me.."

his interest took a 180, "Huh? interested?" he picked up the bag and Helped you and Klee up, "yeah, he said um.."i have no interest in the treasure hoarders, However, you.." i guess he didn't call me interesting directly though, I'm still curious"

Klee kicked the snow as you all walked, going deaf to the conversation topic at hand "I assume he cut your face? but why would he let you go..?" you shrugged. "no clue, perhaps he didn't want me injured further, at least not by the treasure hoarders" it was impossible to read him when his eyes looked so clouded over.

So you gave up on reading him and kicked some of the snow like Klee, "I'll talk about this with Jean next time I'm in Mondstadt, anyway, when we return I'll make a potion for an experiment" you sighed, "c'mon, at least give me some recovery time!"

his cold gaze found it's way to you, "although you've been unusually weak since you were found, your body doesn't seem to be restrained by these weakness'..but rest would be smart" Klee took a handful of the snow and began to eat it while smiling at the distance. "Albedo! look at the pretty star!"

Your eyes followed her hand and focused on the brightly shining star, "Woah, pretty!" you kneeled down beside Klee and gazed up at it. "It would be a shame not to draw such beautiful scenery.."

you looked at him with a raised brow, "are you sure? it's already late, we're all tired!" he glanced down at you and nodded. "Of course, it'll sadly have to wait for another night i suppose" you tapped Klee to bring her attention back to earth.

occasionally, you'd glance up at the star and smile at how bright and sparkly it was, Albedo was right, it definitely was a shame to miss such a good drawing opportunity.

=====

once the trio returned to the oh so familiar lab, you let Klee sleep on the cot even after Albedo had told you to get proper rest for experiments tomorrow, you and him slept in your respective sleeping bags on the ground near on of the fires. Sucrose must often tend to this place when he isn't able because now it was much more clean and tidy then before.

as you slept calmly, the memory of the odd Harbinger lingered in your brain, just why exactly was he 'interested' in you? of all the people it had to be the psychopathy, "ugh.." the blood that belonged to your divine body was spilt, and it caused more bodily weakness, why?

If you were so physically weak, how could you have possibly survived such freezing temperatures, then again as an immortal you weren't as fragile as a normal human.

as your odd nightmares ensued, the morning sun graced the land with its light, barely parting through the clouds of Dragonspine. Of all the people to wake up first, it was you, for some reason you earned a restless night so the moment the sunlight even peeked into the cave you immediately awoke.

you stepped into the thin layer of snow, looking out, it was surprisingly clear, so clear Mondstadt was visible. "Your awake early", called albedo, quietly as he rubbed his eyes, "Oh, sorry did i wake you up?" he shook his head, "No. I'm usually awake at this time" you examined him clearly, now that you could see him more clearly then the night in the tent, his bangs were a lot longer and nearly covered his eyes.

it looked messy and unkept but rather alluring none-the-less, "But you tend to wake up late, or at least after me, so what's the occasion?" it was difficult to tell if he was genuinely caring or if he was curious about his test subject

"thinking about that Scaramouche guy, he really just creeps me out.."

His brows raised slightly, as if not expecting an answer as easy as that, "i haven't seen him in person, how horrific was he?" you shrugged "it's not that his face scars me..just, his smile..gives me the chills"

He wasn't experienced with comforting people who weren't Klee, so he had no clue how to make you feel better in this situation. Even a proclaimed genius himself, was stumped sometimes when it came to more complex emotions "I'll stop spouting about my dreams now, i wanna get these experiments over and done"

you hurried back into the camp and or lab, Albedo's eyes seemed to trail after you until you were focused on waking up klee. "hmm, so she has dreams in her sleep like anyone else, i suppose that info proves useful.."

he returned to his lab and begun making whatever potion it was that he needed for an experiment, Meanwhile, you and Klee were entertaining yourself in the snow. building snowmen or trying to juggle snow balls.

Fore warning, you had no clue about Klee's little bomb obsession. So, as she tossed the bombs disguised as snow balls all over the place, you had no clue what would happen.

as the loud explosion went off, Klee yelled and you screamed and this of course alerted the alchemist who was previously too focused on his research and potion making to pay attention. "ohh no!" Klee cried, Albedo hurried over with a worried pensive expression.

"Klee, you'll go back to Mondstadt after i make sure she's ok, understood?"

Klee shivered at his cold tone, "I-I'm really sorry! i didn't mean to!" he sighed "I know, but you were warned to be careful with her" carefully, he picked you up and walked back into the lab as Klee followed behind, moping and scared.

He laid you down on the cot and properly examined you, the burns on your skin didn't seem to major so he assumed the shock it was put you into the state your in.

he asked Klee to watch you for a little bit, while he would make a potion to relief you of the burns.

"I-I'm really sorry.."
