After running around Mondstadt for the rest of the day, you introduced yourself to people who've only ever caught a glimpse of you, people like Sara who ran Good hunter or Huffman who patrol outside Angels share.

after meeting Huffman, seeing the tavern reminded you of how you met Venti(again) and could safely assume he was here often from the relationship he had with the bartender. Bursting through the tavern door, brought very little attention to yourself as it was pretty busy and noisy.

But low an behold the very Bard you were on the search for happened to be sitting on a barstool, either drunk off his arse or taking a nap on the counter. "you again" the fiery red head glanced at you, "The Bards passed out, curious on where he had gotten the Mora to spend on all this alcohol.."

you went up to sit by the sleeping Bard, he looked happy and peaceful, "i believe he went to Liyue recently..perhaps he robbed the Golden house" Diluc didn't seem to poke fun at the bard often but as he wasn't awake to defend himself, it brought him minor amusement.

"Enough about the bard.." his crimson gaze was intimidating, but as clueless and as someone who deals with Albedo's odd mood swings, you sat unfazed. "Last time you were here, the Bard seemed surprised to see you"

he began, Venti humming to himself as he slept, "what exactly did he tell you when you both rushed to the statue of Ven-..Barbatos?" you leaned onto the counter. "um..he tried to jog my memory.."

Like any god friend, you tried to keep Venti out of your problems, if he didn't want to tell you who your were in the past then he didn't have to because with the people around you, it was already possible it would return soon..

"How do you two know each other?" now was when you began to fidget, "he was.." you brightened up when an idea came to mind. "my boyfriend!" although you had no idea if you were using that term correctly, Diluc seemed convinced.

Meanwhile Venti, who was pretending to be passed out, suddenly woke up, "Aha! yes!" he smiled proudly and slung an arm over your shoulder "You not asleep?" Diluc sighed. "How dare you assume such a minuscule amount of alcohol will make me drunk on my feet!"

he dramatically waved his hand in front of his face as Diluc continued to glare at him, "Where did you get all the mora to begin with?" Venti laughed, "Just a friend from Liyue, who owed me~" he nuzzled closer to you, further selling the act that you didn't mean to open the curtains to.

"Get out of my tavern if you going to act like this" Diluc ordered, irritated with Venti's antics. "well, my love, shouldn't you go see everyone at the knights headquarters?" the nickname confused you but you nodded and hopped off the bar stool.

"shouldn't you accompany your lover?" Diluc asked the bard as you left the tavern, "Oh, That was a lie, As much as i wish it was true it was a lie~!" when i tell you the glass in Diluc's hand nearly shattered, i mean it shattered and he had to stop himself from strangling the anemo god.

meanwhile, your cheerful self wondered around the city and felt quiet the overwhelming exhaustion so, using the map you made in your brain of Mondstadt's layout, you returned home as it was getting late anyways.

"I'll just go say hi to Sucrose and everyone else tomorrow.." the wooden door slightly creaked as you stepped inside, then met with a delicious scent. Closing the door, you followed the scent like a blood hound and wondered into the kitchen, finding Noelle cheerfully cooking.

"Wonderful your here" her sweet voice beckoned you towards the pot of yummy smelling food, "are you like a personal maid or something?" she laughed, "My my no, i serve the Knights of Favonius, Albedo is the chef alchemist and you are in his care. I want to help him out by teaching you how to take care of yourself"
