"i sometimes forget how close stone gate is to Wangshu, makes me wonder why Xiao doesn't come to visit often.."

Albedo raised a brow, looking Y/n dead in the eye with a jealous glint swimming inside them "I could take a shot at it, he seemed..jealous last we saw him.." she smiled and sighed. "He was never the type to get jealous, Protective maybe?"

"I see" his answer was short, "I can't wait to see Klee! i hope she's practiced her drawing skills" he hummed, expression cool and stone faced. But he was silent none the less so making conversation was quite difficult, the only thing he enjoyed talking about was alchemy and there was little she knew about that, or at least didn't know enough to converse about it.

the stroll to stone gate was a quiet one, chirping birds and ribbiting frogs being the only sounds accompanying the two. 

"I received a letter sometime while we were in Liyue"

he began, pulling out a thin folded paper that was plenty crinkled. "Really? From who?" he sighed, unfolding the letter and looking to the bottom. "Dodo-king" She cocked her head to the side "Dodo-king? Sounds like something Klee made up"

He nodded, "Indeed, in fact she was mentioned in the letter. I wanted to stay in Liyue for a day longer but this letter mentioned Klee was in trouble, So we had to make haste" Y/n scowled. "Then what are we walking for?! Let's go!"

"uhh, the letter says she's on some island, how are we supposed to get there?" Albedo shrugged, unusually calm for someone whos sister is quote on quote "in trouble". You raised a brow and looked at him, practically dumbfounded.

"Klee is in trouble and you don't even know how to get to her to help!?" he pat your head, easing the bubbling anger. "We're to go to some archipelago, perhaps by boat?" he shook his head, "the letter specifies that going by boat is impossible, fog and storms make that a fact"

"Well then..-" 

"We'll ask around, perhaps someone will know a way" You scratched your head, "who has the most connections in Mondstadt.." This thought came to mind right as the duo passed dawn winery. Diluc's well connected tycoon coming to mind, "Hey! Diluc is well connected right? He should know someone who-"

"i suppose so, but, i've heard his connections aren't..safe ones" You clicked your tongue and laughed, "hey i sorta sounded like Kaeya for a minute..ah anyway, Maybe we should ask Lisa then?"

"Not a horrible idea, I'll ask Lisa, If you like you can ask Diluc or Kaeya. But if so do make it quick, we'll meet at the house later alright?" you nodded. "Alright, wait if Klee is missing wouldn't Jean notice?" he nodded, "I was informed that she's on vacation, it's hard to believe but if she hasn't noticed then.."

"Well let's hurry then! I have to find Diluc and Kaeya!" 

Later, at the knights headquarters.

"Ah Kaeya, you in here?" you peeked into the acting grand masters office, seeing Kaeya busy with a piece of paper in his hand. "I am, need something?" you rushed over to his and grabbed his shoulders, "Do you know about some Golden apple archipelago?"
