After your return from musk reef, both you and Albedo were rather anxious and both failed to sit still in one place. Albedo was being pessimistic, wondering if this cure would still work after 500 years of adaptation to the loss of its nation, he had an itching feeling something was going to go wrong.
You weren't as worried but what worried you the most was, what if the other you took control? What if once you lost your mind she took place, is that what the Abyss order really wanted? Was to have her for her thirst for chaos and blood over a peaceful former archon?
"Stop pacing, you're making me anxious.." you requested as the blond walked to and fro from one side of the room to another with his hand on his chin and anxiety on his face. "Please relax a little" You asked of him, "it's a bit difficult knowing someone i love dearly might lose their sentience in three days"
"It'll be alright, please relax" you stood up to comfort the blond, holding his hand while matching his stare. He brought your hand up to kiss the back of your palm, your face quickly softening "I..loath to part with you for but a minute you know.." he hummed with sadness echoing in his eyes.
"I don't like being to far from you either.." you both sadly laughed "If i may ask.." you began, leading Albedo over to the sofa. "Since you have a piece of Durin's soul..doesn't that mean you have a piece of his power too?"
The alchemist pat his lap, indicating for you to lay down "We're talking about such a serious topic and you want me to lay on your lap?" you laughed a bit before complying. "About your question..i do possess a part of Durin's powers and abilities but i fear i'll lose myself if i allow it control"
"I see.." your shoulder's loosened with defeat, "If this really doesn't work.." he started with a sad voice "..I'll fight with every piece of my being, i'll kill myself for you to live.." he leaned down and placed a soft kiss on your lips. "No you won't, you know i wouldn't let that happen.."
"You still have to teach Klee to draw" you pointed out "I still haven't seen you drunk" you chuckled "Touché" for a while you both stayed there, the only sound was breathing. "I can't remember if i was rowdy when drunk..i think i got more quiet whenever i drank too much" Albedo tilted his head.
"I have a small feeling you would make less sense then usual when drunk" The blond smiled while you glared up at him. "You act like half the things you say make any sense" he tilted his head to appear coy, "Hm how rude.." he jested.
"You know you love me" you sat up and moved to sit on his lap, "Ah.." Albedo groaned a bit as you got comfortable. "You're trying to tease me again.." Albedo sighed "I'm not trying to, i'm just getting comfortable~" you cooed, leaning your head on his shoulder. Your soft breathing gently tickled his neck and ear, forcing a pleasant shiver down his spine.
A small smile graced your face, peeking at his face occasionally to see him get worse and more embarrassed. "ha..tha..that tickles a bit" Albedo masked his embarrassment with laughter, "It..tickles?" Albedo swallowed hard before trying to continue. "It's been two days since you were attacked..are you sure you..?"
"I'm just teasing you, if you wanted to do that then I'd say you have to lead this time" Albedo scoffed in embarrassment. He remained silent though, as if his mind was busy, "It doesn't take a equation to answer me.." Albedo shook his head. "I'd much rather sit here and hold you then.." you smiled and leaned against his shoulder again "I like that idea.."
Albedo shifted to lay down with you on his chest, you tugged down a blanket from the back of the sofa and snuggled against the blond. "I should go see Venti later.." Albedo sighed, the sound of his breathing soothed you "If you wish to, i won't protest" he stroked your head and yawned. "Let's just sleep here for a while.."

Two hours passed, the sun once danced at the peak of the day but was now sinking slowly down into the horizon. From the two hours before, you no longer laid on Albedo's chest but now at his side on the edge of the sofa. This was a fortunate situation, you could easily slip out of Albedo's grasp without waking him up.
You quickly pecked Albedo's lips and carefully rolled off the sofa, "I'll be back home before you know it.." you murmured to him before quietly making your way upstairs to change and brush your hair. Now, Venti had no choice to tell you what happened five hundred years ago that put both you and the great dragon of the east into a long lasting slumber.
You silently closed the front door before running to the place where Venti often frequents, Angels share. Shop keeps greeted with you with waves and smiles, some familiar and some not and then you reached the famous tavern "One more please, Master Diluc!" Venti cheered as you stepped inside.
Diluc looked up as you entered, greeting you with a nod "Y/n!" Venti gasped and quickly pat the stool beside him. "Sit sit!" you smiled bitterly, feeling bad about possibly ruining the cheerful bard's evening. You sat beside him none-the-less and asked for your own dandelion wine, "You know why i'm here Venti.." Diluc turned away after he gave you your wine, trying not to listen in to the conversation between the two gods.
Venti's cheerful smile faded and became bitter, "I know.." you took a sip of the sweet refreshing wine. "I didn't defeat Durin with Dvalin's help, i only created Dragonspine to purify both his body and your own.." you put your elbow on the bar and placed your chin on your palm. "Then who did?"
"You did, You killed Durin..using your own gnosis to muster the power to kill your own creation.."
"I sacrificed my gnosis to kill a creature i held so close to my heart?" Venti nodded, "You told me the day before the battle that, Durin didn't deserve to suffer the same way you have. He died young, merely seventy years old when his soul passed on.."
"Into another being, right?"
Venti looked over to you, "How did you..-?" you smiled "Albedo is a creation of alchemy, but a person without a soul is just a hollow shell. So his master visited Dragonspine and gave him a piece of the great dragon's soul..that's why Albedo shows similar traits to Durin..cold and a little distant"
"I see, i guess it's natural for you to be drawn back to the same soul" you took another drink, "But that's not all that happened huh?" the bard nodded, lowering his voice. "When i thought you died..i went back to search for your body and found you completely enveloped inside Durin's so called heart"
You looked at the bard in confusion, "You had a very special connection with him, so i simply assume when you died you merged with your masterpiece..i was so obviously wrong" you smiled. "Durin brought me back from certain death even after he died.." Venti nodded "I guess that's one thing i should be grateful for when it comes to that beast.."
Venti leaned against you, his eyes lacking a childish glint and was replaced with sorrow and anxiety. "I miss this.." he muttered, "Mhm.." the relationship you shared with Venti was just as unique as the one you shared with Durin. Venti was no more then a good friend but at the same time you had a need to protect and care for him, like a younger brother.
"Hey Venti.." you began, his response was a drunken hum.
"I wonder how beautiful Celestia is.."
