Pure (Albedo x reader)

Angel

Sunlight, so blinding and so incredibly annoying.

With the curtains being left as they were, the raw sunlight easily seeped in and quickly woke you up. "hm.." you opened your eyes and blinked a few times, you found yourself using Albedo's bare back as your pillow and it was oddly comfortable. Listening to his steady breathing, his heart beat and feeling the subtle light scars on his back, a few were more prominent then the others.

You rubbed a small circle on his back with your index finger, while you fiddled with the shirt you had on then soon he started to stir due to the sunlight. "Good morning.." you got off his back and used an actual pillow as he rolled over and greeting you with a sleepy good morning, he leaned closer to you and pressed a small kiss on your nose.

He smiled softly, you scratched his ears again and frowned "I'm sad, they'll be gone" his eyes narrowed but his pupils dilated. "You had your fun, now i can be normal and continue my experiments" he brought his finger to your neck and traced the small bruises with it.

"We should take a bath, together maybe?" the aqua eyed man hummed, "Are you going to wear my shirt all day?" you looked at the shirt and messed with the collar a little. "If i don't have to leave..can i?" he slowly blinked, still clearly having trouble staying awake "Maybe..sure, We'll take a bath later, just sleep in with me a little longer please? Your warmth is familiar and comforting.."

"Well, at least put pants back on first"

"..r—right"

Mere hours later did you wake up to find the warm body once beside you was gone, you sat up and glanced around. Despite feeling a bit sore, you got up with the blanket still wrapped around you and wobbled to the stairs; yawning as you walked down them.

Things became more clear as a gentle sent overwhelmed your sense of smell, "Albedo?" The man in question poked his head out from the kitchen doorway. "I was hoping you'd sleep in a bit longer.." he sighed, setting whatever he was holding down before coming to you in a rush.

"What's the rush, I'm fine?" he hummed, making sure you didn't stumble down the stairs at all "You're sore, aren't you?" he sighed as your gaze averted itself. "Yeah I'm sore but i didn't know where you went so.."

You sat down on the couch and sighed, The vial on the table was now empty and Albedo now lacked cat ears, a tail the feline eyes and fangs and the timid attitude. He was fast to notice your sad gaze and his eyes softened with a very small smile "I couldn't stay like that forever, it's humiliating and i have work to do.."

"I know..I'm not that sad. Just-"

"Good morning!" Klee bursted into the house with a bright shining smile on her adorable face, "Ah! Klee hi..!" you further wrapped your body with the blanket in your grasp. "I thought you'd be out adventuring by now" Albedo crossed his arms, "Well i wanted too but Jean said that there's..abyss..things?"

"There getting closer to the city..i thought they were only in Dragonspine.." Albedo glanced down at you and your worried gaze. "Klee, want to help me with breakfast while Y/n gets ready?" Klee cheered while you groaned "but i'm comfy in your shirt.." Klee ran into the kitchen, "I'll make a deal with you," he began "Change now and I'll let you wear another one of my shirts after we take a bath later..alright?"

"Deal" While Klee was preoccupied in the kitchen you dashed up the stairs and quickly regretted it, stumbling and tripping over your feet when in such a hurry. Albedo yelled to ask if you were ok and a loud laugh was his response.

Don't mind me, i laugh when i fall.

Twenty minutes later you came back downstairs in fresh clothes, Klee ran at you once you were at the bottom of the stairs and clung to your legs. "Klee? What's wrong?" she looked at you with worried eyes "Albedo said you're not feeling ok.." her lips slightly quivered as her eyes shined with tears glossing over them.

"Oh Klee I'm not sick..I'm just a little sore, I'll be just fine" Tears nearly escaped her eyes but she smiled enough to make both of you feel a bit better. "Girls, breakfast!" Albedo hollard, Klee ran ahead before you could stop her then you sluggishly followed.

"Where do you get all this fruit?" Albedo sat across from you while Klee sat between you both, "Sucrose's successful experiments, she offers them to me occasionally whenever i'm home" it was a little surprising to find he was eating a full plate of food with his small apatite. "If i didn't know better, Sounds like Sucrose likes you a lot"

"Hm? I am her teacher after all, it's understandable she'd want to show me the fruits of her labor" you smiled and shook your head but ended the conversation there. "Y/n, what's on your neck?" Klee asked, looking up at you with her mouth full of fruit and pancakes you shared a wide eyed glance at Albedo as he chuckled to himself, leaving you to explain on your own.

"Uh well.." she patiently waited for you to explain, failing to notice your discomfort "Maybe I'll tell you when you're older..yeah" she began to pout as her cheeks puffed out and turned red. "Klee's a big girl!" she insisted but could tell you were to sturdy to waver, "Then maybe Kaeya will tell me!" she grinned at her own idea and began to eat in a hurry.

"Klee, Kaeya will tell you the same thing Y/n did it would just be a waste of time" he drank his coffee whilst looking at you with a smug look in his eyes. Klee continued to pout until she finished her food, "I'm gonna go fish blasting, i wanted Y/n to come to but she's sore so.." you reached over and pat the girls head "Next time Klee, you can blame me being sore on your brother by the way"

She looked at Albedo with her attempt at mimicking one of his spine chilling glares, but with her warm eyes it was a terrible attempt. "Be careful Klee" the blond girl ran off with a pout on her face, "You're such a jerk" he grinned "What? It's not my fault she noticed my handiwork over yours, and you didn't cover your neck well at all"

He took another bite of his food while you fumed, but you weren't really that mad this was simply just a different side to him you rarely get the chance to see. But anyway, since you finished your food before he finished his, just to spite him you went upstairs to start the bath alone..

You let the water get warm while you undressed, once the steam became visible you stepped in and happily shrunk into the warmth. The water enveloped you as Albedo came in, quick to close the door behind him.

you both shared a wholesome and nice bath together that morning, the day was filled with plenty of possibilities. And things are in order, for this play to put on it's final act.
