Pure (Albedo x reader)

It was the day after the small group of friends and you arrived at the Golden apple archipelago, placing the pale colored gems close to the shore so they'd attract fish.

Albedo went off on his own to paint in peace for a while, hopefully without any interruptions. So from there you stayed with Paimon Lumine Klee Jean and Barbara, gods know where the guys went off too.

It was refreshing to be around a group of girls, the last time this happened was when you stepped into Mondstadt for the first time in centuries. Barbara was sweet and asked if she could do your hair, Jean supervised the a mother, Lumine was rather quite but Paimon said she was usually this way.

As for Klee, well, she was way to excited to stay in a single place. She was running all over the place while Paimon chased her.

"This is sorta nice"

Barbara chuckled, "Mhm, i heard from Jean that you haven't gotten the chance to hang out around other girls other then Klee since you first came to Mondstadt." you nodded. "Well I get fairly busy sometimes or i'm way to tired to go all the way to the cathedral, and hanging out with Klee isn't terrible! She's quite fun"

"As long as you don't start blowing stuff up like her.." Jean sighed, "can we go check on the gems yet!?" Klee asked with enthusiasm. Jumping up in down in excitement, Jean looked at the horizon and nodded "Sure, let's hope this was the answer to that weird riddle"

Barbara helped you up and everyone got prepared to go, "Um, where are the guys at anyways? Shouldn't they be there too in case something goes wrong?" you asked.

"..You may be right, i get the feeling they'll be there on there own though." 

"Then let's go! I'm hyped to see what will happen!"

Back on the small island, lo and behold the gentlemen found their way to the small island and waited quietly. Albedo was sketching something with a bored expression, ignoring the bickering siblings "Um, well i'm not surprised their arguing.." Albedo turned his head to look at you, putting his sketchbook down at his side.

"There going on about..i believe Kaeya mentioned some vase?" you glanced at the brothers, Kaeya looked more into the Argument than Diluc, who stood calm with his arms crossed looking to try and tune out his blue haired brother.

"Where did you guys go yesterday? i didn't see any of you at the island we stayed at" he crossed his arms while Lumine and the others gathered fish scales, his focus mostly on you while occasionally glancing at the others. "i left this island on my own after Lumine kindly showed me how the mechanism that summon boats work here, then ran into the others on a larger island. I was painting when i heard them chatting, then we just stayed grouped up for the night then returned here"

"Oh i see, While i was hanging around Lumine she told me about the experiments she was in, involving some weird sword? Sounds a lot more fun then the ones i was in." he was quick to notice the bitterness in your tone and the sourness on your face. "i didn't want to put someone i didn't know well in such danger like that"

"But didn't you barely know her when you asked her to strengthen that sword?" the group moved over to the little monuments. "Well..yes but her background in Mondstadt proven she could handle that cursed weapon.." though you still pouted, the conversation ended there as Klee and Lumine activated the small colored monuments.

As the large bubble energy shield fell, a smirk graced Albedo's face, which was in fact quite rare. He didn't seem like the person to smirk unless something either pleasantly unexpected happened, or his experiments went well.

"Woah! look at that! everything has dodoco's or clovers on them" Albedo was calm so you tried to do the same for a change. Everything looked so summer-y, so pretty but so simple at the same time. 

Then a gramophone begun to play with a voice of a woman, going on about the dodo clan and dodo-king until, "..It's me! Your mother, Alice!" the cheerful woman's voice brought forth surprise among the crowd and even Klee seemed surprised "huh?! Mom?".

"huh!? Alice? the lady who wrote the Teyvat travel guide?"

Though you knew of Alice simply as Klee's mom, you knew nothing else about her, writer of the Teyvat travel guide? You've merely heard whims and whispers of such a thing, not being a traveler that needed to learn about Teyvat as a god who traveled every nation centuries ago.

"Klee and her fellow islanders, hey there! How do you like it here? quite the vacation spot yeah? though when you hear this i'll be far away from where all of you are, but this device makes it easy to convey motherly love to my daughter!"

You began to doze off a little, as it was still quite early and you were still fairly sleepy. You shifted your weight on different feet every now and then whilst Alice talked, when she started to name everyone off, it brought your attention back down to earth.

(I really didn't wanna write all that boring dialogue)

"now..let me guess. Everyone who received a letter should be present! Kaeya, Diluc, Razor, Jean Barbara. And then there's the reliable and intelligent Albedo..and the mysterious traveler and her good companion Paimon. Ah, and the girl found on Dragonspine Y/n! I must say, Y/n i'm grateful you brought Albedo out of his shell for a change!"

Though she could not hear you, you giggled a bit as Albedo's face grew a little embarrassed "I bet i embarrassed him didn't i? haha..!" you smiled at him and inwardly squeaked when he softly held your hand. In turn making you more embarrassed then he was moments before.

Then you grew too enveloped in your own thoughts to listen to all that followed that sentence..

We never realize how frozen we are
