After Cyno left headquarters, for the rest of the morning you stayed in the library with Lisa while Albedo went off to do things in his lab. Lisa was a good conversationalist and told you about things you couldn't remember about history.

She mentioned something about a revolution with old Mondstadt and the fall of the god of storms, Decarabian. "Do remember anything about that? if i recall you mentioned you fought beside Barbatos so you must be friends"

"mhm..he's super energetic for someone who's lost so much. granted the brighter the smile the more pain it must hide ay?" Lisa nodded at the wise phrase that left your mouth. "Earlier when Cyno was here, and Albedo comforted you, are you two together finally?"

You put on a coy smile, "what do you mean finally?" Lisa put her chin on the back of her hand, "Oh dear, the moment you two met something clicked in that alchemist. After all, the first time i saw you both together, it was the way he looked at you, like you were a gem among coal"

"your analogies are quite weird, i never noticed anything different about the way he looked at me" she hummed before taking a drink of her tea. "Perhaps no one you can remember has looked at you that way?"

A frown graced your face, "ah..i'm sorry, you mentioned you had a former lover named Jauda right? did he ever look at you like that" a worried look formed on her face as you shook your head. "He didn't, but Durin did"

"the..dragon?" Lisa wore a puzzled expression, "Why Durin and not someone who loved you?" you ran your index finger around the rim of the teacup. "Durin was my creation, i created him after the death of Jauda. With the ability to create a new being, that new being needed a soul and even if Jauda became a evil person his soul was unharmed and still pure"

"So even as a god who can create a entirely new being, you can't make souls?" you couldn't remember if you liked touching on this subject or not; but it felt wrong to talk about it. "I can't explain it because i can't remember it well, but a soul, just like a slime or a Regisvine, is a pure thing made from a combination of holy elements from the god of death and life"

"A soul cannot simply be made by someone who was once mortal, even if they posses the skill to create anything"

"But you mentioned having two souls in one body, for the sake of knowledge i have to know and as a Sumerian top graduate"

"The other soul i mentioned before is more restless and cunning. Her name being Omisha the first time i spoke to her was after my father died and my mother blamed me for it and therefor..well details are not needed but for around a few months i went through the same routine and she made me feel better until one day she had control over my whole being and killed my mom.."

Lisa sighed with a frown "but that's not what you want to know huh? well let me tell you, humans are made as vessels to shelter one soul from the past hence the term 'old soul' or a 'playful soul'. When a mortal becomes a god it's because they've been blessed with the soul of a dead god which is what happened to me, but from what i can infer that came at a price and that price was spilt personality. In conclusion, i received a two faced blessing that in and of itself is unique"

Lisa nodded, understanding in her green orbs "Humans can only shelter one soul..and those souls can be transferred from one person to another by a capable person like yourself?" she summed it up pretty well; a nod being her answer. "That is..good to know"

Lisa and you continued to chat about both your godhood and past hardships and Lisa's life as a student and even gossiped a little about Cyno. But suddenly when Klee burst into the library, your attention focused on her; as did Lisa's.

"Is something wrong Klee? you didn't get in trouble so early in the morning did you?" Lisa asked with a small grin on her face. "Nope! Klee's been a good girl, but i heard something from Albedo's lab!" she looked a little panicked but Lisa looked more calm then she should.
