beomgyu sniffles quietly as he ties his new running shoes. he adjusts himself on the sofa before standing up with a satisfied smile, "they fit perfectly."

"i'm glad to hear that, blossom." hyejin lets out happily as she dumps down onto the sofa, wrapping an arm around her girlfriend. the two ladies watch beomgyu jump up and down in excitement, before he starts jogging on the spot to test his new shoes. 

"stop stomping around inside! go out for a run instead!" yongsun laughs at him and points towards the front door.

"in my pajamas?" beomgyu asks, looking down at his borrowed hoodie and checkered pajama trousers. 

"no one is awake at this time of day anyways. it won't hurt anyone."

"bye bye!" beomgyu shouts happily and runs into the entrance, he zips up his coat quickly and slams the door behind him. 

"where is beomgyu?" taehyun asks as he returns to the living room after changing his clothes. 

"he's out testing his new shoes." hyejin smiles, watching beomgyu run down the garden path through the window. 

"in his nighty?" taehyun almost laughs and hurries towards the window to get a look at his giddy boyfriend. 

"in his nighty." yongsun smiles happily and taehyun walks into the hallway to put on his slip-ons. he really wants to watch beomgyu run again. he likes the expression on the older's face when he runs. beomgyu looks the happiest when he's running and that makes taehyun happy. 

the younger watches his boyfriend run up and down the street with the widest smile taehyun has ever seen. it makes his heart swell and thump happily in his chest. this is one of the favourite moments he's ever experienced in his life. and he can't believe he attempted to end everything just a few months ago, then he would've never seen beomgyu smile like this. taehyun is happy he's still here, well and breathing. 

"come back inside, hyung! the others will be here soon. you should change clothes!" taehyun shouts after his boyfriend who's trying to catch up with a car, he looks like an idiot. 

"i think you were being a little too ambitious there, beom." taehyun laughs at beomgyu as the boy stops in front of him.

"shut up, i almost overtook them, didn't you see me?"

soobin quietly unties his shoelaces by the door as he arrives with yeonjun. he places his shoes neatly on the floor, picking up yeonjun's shoes that he just kicked off upon entering the house and puts them beside his. 

yeonjun always enters as if he owns the place and he has a happy smile on his face as he sees taehyun. but his bottom lip juts out as soon as he sees the banner across the archway. 

"why don't i have a nickname, hyejin?!" he whines cutely at hyejin who has appeared in the hallway. the look on his face makes her laught and taehyun can't help but smile. 

"it'll come naturally, just wait." she smiles, patting yeonjun's hair. 

the two boys follow taehyun and hyejin into the living room. huening kai and yongsun are sitting on the floor in front of the coffee table and the boy is busy showing her pictures of rocky. beomgyu is attempting to watch television over their heads, but huening kai's fluffy hair is blocking the view.
