Valentine's Day Special

     Leorio was just getting ready to leave. Kurapika had spent the night at his house, so he really didn't want to go, but he couldn't really stay. He had promised a friend that he would help him move into his new apartment across town. Meanwhile, he put on his usual outfit: a suit and tie.
     "You're up early." Kurapika teased, taking a sip of his coffee.
     "I sort of promised a friend I'd help him move into his new apartment. His girlfriend kicked him out."
     "Oh. Well, be back for dinner. I need to go shopping today, so is there anything you want or need? Leorio rambled off a list of items, though it was mostly junk food, which made Kurapika roll his eyes.
     "Your tie is crooked." Kurapika stated. He then padded over to Leorio and reached up to fix his tie, making Leorio turn bright red. Kurapika just laughed lightly.
     "Hey... hey Kurapika, I was thinking and... well... Valentine's Day is coming up and... um... I was wondering if... you'll be my valentine?" Leorio stuttered, his face reddening even more.
     Kurapika's hands froze for a minute before he regained his composure. "Well, we are a couple now, and that is what couples do, right?" He smiled.
     "Yeah. Yeah! Well, see you tonight!" Leorio shouted, grabbing his things and rushing out the door before Kurapika could change his mind. The truth was, Kurapika and Leorio had never actually spent a Valentine's Day together, and it made both of them nervous.

     Later that week, as Kitapika and Leorio sat in the back at Abby's restaurant, they were asked about their planes for Valentine's Day. And, of course, as soon as Abby heard that they didn't have plans yet, she decided to go all out.
     She told the guys to be at her restaurant at 6:00 p.m. of Valentine's Day, and to leave the rest to her. The guys hesitantly agreed, but we're glad to not have to do any work.

     When Valentine's Day rolled around, Leorio and Kurapika spent the day together. They went to the movies, for a walk in the park, and then, finally, to Abby's restaurant.
     As soon as Leorio and Kurapika entered the back room they had sat in so many times, they were showered with greetings and ushered to their table, where there were already appetizers waiting. The guys took a seat, and the waitress took their orders before leaving.
     The room had been transformed. Instead of the plain white walls that decorated it before, it was now covered with paper hearts. There were Valentine's Day decorations of every kind.
     The guys talked, and soon their champagne came, and shortly after that, their food. By the time they finished dinner, they were stuffed. But, Abby being Abby, she had more planned for them.
     As soon as Leorio and Kurapika finished their plates, out came another plate, this time stacked with chocolate covered strawberries, ice cream, and more. And, of course, Leorio immediately began stuffing his face again, making Kurapika laugh.
     It was dark by the time Kurapika Leorio got home, but they didn't care. They had an amazing day, and they didn't want it to end. Instead, they sat on Leorio's couch to watch sappy Valentine's Day movies. Leorio put his head in Kurapika's lap, and Kurapika ran his fingers through his hair the whole time.
     "Kurapika." Leorio mumbled when the movie was done, Kurapika's hands still in his hair.
     "Yeah?" Kurapika asked softly, smiling slightly at Leorio's sleepy voice.
     "I love you. So, so, so much." He mumbled as he fell asleep.
     "I love you too, Mr.Leorio." Kurapika whispered, giving Leorio a kiss before falling asleep himself.
