Kurapika just ran. Ran and ran and ran. He could hear Abby calling his name, but he didn't care. He sped up once she got close. He ran until he couldn't hear her anymore. He looked around, realizing where he had run to.

He was surrounded by ships. This is where he had boarded the day he met Leorio. He could still see Leorio's face as he told him it's Mr.Leorio. Kurapika laughed with no humor.

Abby had been running for forever. She only stopped when she fell. She screamed in pain, holding her arm. It felt broken. She prayed for Leorio to show up, to help her. She sat there on the empty sidewalk, crying.

Leorio was normally a safe driver, but now was not the time. He only sped in emergencies, and this was an emergency. He had tears rolling down his cheeks as he drove aimlessly. When at a stop sign, he saw someone on the sidewalk. The person seemed to be crying. He sighed as he pulled over, jumping out of the car.

"Are you ok?" He asked, looking over the small woman sitting there. "ABBY!" He shouted, dropping to his knees to make sure she was okay.

"Leorio!" Abby cried. "I think my arm is broken, I can't move it." She told him.

"Damn it!" Leorio yelled, taking off his tie and making a sling out of it. "You'll be okay, I promise. I won't let anything happen to you." He promised.

"Thank you." She whispered. Leorio wiped a tear off her cheek, his heart aching to see her in pain.

"Do you want to go to the hospital?" He asked, concerned for his girlfriend.

"No, we need to find Kurapika. I'll be fine. Please." She pleaded, giving him the puppy dog eyes.

"Damn you're so cute." Leorio whispered, kissing her on the cheek.

Abby felt her cheeks get pink. "Thanks." She whispered yet again. "Now let's go find your friend!"

Kurapika dropped to the ground, pondering what to do next. He could jump in the water, or go back. Maybe he could find someone else to stay with for a while. Maybe Gon and Killua. But would they accept him? With everything he's done to Leorio would they still want to be friends?

For the first time since he was a baby, Kurapika cried. No one was around to see, so he just let it loose. He just sat and cried. He didn't know how long, but by the time he stopped it was already dark out.

Kurapika realized just how cold it got out, and reached for his coat. His coat was gone. He must have dropped it while he was running. He stood up, trying to find shelter from the cold. He knew his eyes were puffy, so he'd just say they were allergies.

Walking into the bar, he sat on the closest open stool. "Damn." He swore, remembering his wallet, along with his fake ID, we're in his coat.

When the bartender asked what he wanted to drink, kurapika just shook his head. Without his wallet, he couldn't order anything.

"Here," Abby said, handing Kurapika's jacket over to Leorio. "I managed to get this."

Leorio glances at it before glueing his eyes on the road.

"How is this supposed to help?" Leorio snapped. "Tell me, how is a COAT supposed to help us figure out where he went?"

"I was just trying to help." Abby sighed, hurt lacing her voice.

"I know." Leorio apologized. "I'm just frustrated right now. This is all my fault. I should have just manned up and dealt with everything. Then he wouldn't be hurting and you wouldn't be wasting your time on me!" Leorio cried, trying to make everything better.

Abby looked at him, tears in her eyes. "Don't say that! It's not true. You mean the world to me!" She cried back, her hand on his arm.

Leorio just drove on, looking for his best friend.
