Bonus Chapter!!!!
The drive was silent. Leorio sat in the driver seat as Abby was in back with Kurapika, slowly petting his head in a soothing matter. Pulling up to Kurapika apartment complex, Leorio's former home, nothing could have prepared him for the places state.
As they unlocked the door with Kurapika's key, the couple had a painful expression remaining on their face. The room was in ruins, papers scattered everywhere, broken wine bottles, empty pill bottles, clothing and shoes. Even Kurapika's work computer was shattered. Dust was collected everywhere, the lights appearing to not work. The o my thing that remained the same was the lack of spiderwebs.
Leorio sunk to his knees, Kurapika in his hands. Abby stood behind him, rubbing his shoulders trying to soothe him. Leorio's mouth just hung open. Minutes passed before anyone spoke.
"Even when I wasn't here, he still would have cleaned." Leorio stayed in disbelief. All Abby did was nod, using her phone flashlight to find her way through the apartment. She looked over her shoulder at Leorio before she spoke.
"Are you sure you want to leave him here? We do have the spare bedroom. I wouldn't mind..." Her voice trailed off as she turned around to face the bedroom doorway, the door loose on its hinges. The walls were scratched and torn apart, as if someone had tried to break in. As they explored further into his room, the couple scanning the Kurta's room and bathroom. The floor was littered with bloody bandages and razors.
Abby heard Leorio's breath falter as he starred at the floor. Finally looking up, he takes into consideration Abby's offer. Before he could come up with any excuse to not let Kurapika stay with them, Abby spoke out of the blue.
"I don't care about your former relationship with him, he's staying with us. It's not safe for him on his own, especially here." Leorio looks around at his former home, preparing to leave one last time.
