Silent X Pain

           Breakfast was deafeningly silent. Everybody was nervous for the day ahead. Abby kept trying to start a conversation, but every time she tried she was answered with silence.

            "So, are we just going to spend the day sulking? Come on, let's do something! Leorio, I'm booooooored. Let's go shopping!" Abby offered, hands on her hips, eyes darting between Kurapika and Leorio.

           Kurapika put up a smile, not really feeling it, and looked to Leorio. "Come on, how bad could it be?" He asked.

           Leorio chuckled. "You have never been on a shopping spree with Abby. Her motto is 'Don't stop 'till you drop' when it comes to shopping."

          "Hey! It's not that bad!" Abby pouted, making puppy eyes at the boys. "Please?" She begged.

          "Fine! Just-just, no more puppy eyes!" Leorio laughed. Abby immediately perked up, ready to get going.

          "Well get your lazy butts dressed and let's go!" Abby yelled.

          Kurapika laughed a genuine laugh. "Better do what she says, who knows what she's capable of."

          "Last time I took her shopping, I don't know what she hurt more, my arms or my credit card." The two laughed for a minute at that before going out to meet Abby.

         "About time!" Abby yelled as the guys climbed in the car.

         The drive there was in comfortable silence, the only sound was Abby's occasional a screech of excitement.

         Reaching the mall, Abby was the first one out of the car. She grabbed Leorio's wallet and ran to the doors, bursting with excitement.

         The boys took their time, talking as they neared an impatient Abby.

         "Come on guys! We only have one day, so let's make the best of it!" Abby cheered, "And spend all of Leorio's money!" She giggles before throwing open the door and running inside.

        The trio spent hours shopping, Abby making the boys carry all her bags. At around one o'clock Leorio started complaining.

         "Abby, can we please take a break? I'm hungry!" He whined. "You're spending my money, so I should at least get some food out of it!"

        "Fine. What do you guys want? We can run home and drop all this off and I'll make us something!" She agreed.

         "Kurapika, it's up to you. What do you want?" Leorio asked the Kurta.

       "Um, I don't know. How about...pizza?" Leorio was surprised at Kurapika's choice. Normally he would have said salad or something.

         "Oh, ok!" Leorio stumbled over his words. Abby didn't notice anything. She was already on her way to the food court.

        "Let's see what they have here, and if you don't want anything here I'll make something at home!" Abby walked fast, and the boys struggled to keep up because of all the clothes she had bought.

         Abby scans all the little shops, looking for a pizza place. Coming up with nothing, she decides to walk around town a little bit. After dropping the bags off in the car, the guys follow.

        Abby stopped in front of a light blue building with a sign reading 'Molly's Place'. In the window was a huge 'Going Out Of Business' sign.
