Leorio opened the door to his apartment, Abby in his arms. Looking up, he saw the house was spotless. Not at all how he left it.
In the guest bedroom, Kurapika heard someone struggling to open the door. He though about standing up, but then again what if it were an intruder? He decided to stay.
Leorio closed the door with his foot and walked over to the couch, laying Abby down on it. Looking around with his mouth open, he noticed there wasn't a speck of dust anywhere. 'Who did this?' He thought, still gaping at how clean his home is.
Kurapika heard rustling coming from the living room, half hoping it was an intruder so he didn't have to face Leorio and Abby yet. What would he even say? Sighing and opening the door, he peeked into the living room. It was Leorio. Hoping he hadn't seen him yet, he tried to close the door. Unfortunately for him, Leorio saw him
"Um, Kurapika? Did you do all this?" Leorio asked, utterly amazed at his work.
"Yes. I felt bad for how things happened so I came back to clean." Kurapika opened the door, stepping into the living room and sitting in a chair.
Leorio walked up to Kurapika, pulling him up and squeezing him tight.
"Don't you ever leave me like that again. EVER!" Leorio yelled at Kurapika, making his point very clear.
The Kurta wrapped his arms around Leorio, choking on his words. "I-I'm so sorry, i-it won't happen again."
Abby opened her eyes, just barely, and stared at the boys, smiling. She was happy for Leorio. Seeing him happy made her happy. She watched at the tears from his eyes fell into Kurapika's hair.
Time Skip 8:00 A.M.
They all went to bed late last night, but Abby was up at dawn. She went for a quick run around the block, showered, and sat in the living room until the boys woke up.
Kurapika woke up before Leorio. They had been up super late the night before, talking with each other about everything and anything.
Coming out of the room he was staying in, Kurapika smiled at Abby.
"Morning!" Abby smiled back.
"Morning." Kurapika responded.
Kurapika sat down in the same spot he was in yesterday. After a couple minutes of silence, Kurapika spoke up.
"I saw you looking at us last night." Abby gasped, embarrassed. "Thank you for not saying anything. I needed that so much."
Abby nodded. "No problem, you both just looked so happy, I didn't want to ruin it."
"Anyways, I've decided I'm going home tomorrow. And I know you saw how much of a mess it was, but I promise I'll try to turn my life around." Kurapika explained.
"You're leaving? But I had fun talking with you before everything went haywire." They both laughed. "Speaking of your house," Abby approached the situation with caution. "how is your wrist?" She cringed, remembering how Kurapika pulled away from Leorio's grip.
Kurapika's face went dead serious. "I cleaned it up when I got back. I'll do my best to stop cutting. I mean it. I really do."
Abby was about to respond when Leorio stumbled out of the bedroom. "Morning!" He greeted in his sleepy voice. Abby found his sleeping voice adorable.
"Morning! So, what's for breakfast?" Abby clapped, ready to start her last full day with Kurapika.
