Jungkook wakes up with his mind feeling like it's filled with cotton candy. Not that he would mind if it was. It takes him a few moments to realize he's looking up at Hoseok's ceiling and that the owner is sitting right next to him on his phone.
"Are you really scrolling through Namjoon's Instagram?" Jungkook asks teasingly, his own raspy voice sounding foreign to his ears.
Hoseok screeches and holds his phone to his chest as he turns to look at Jungkook who he hadn't realized was awake, clearly.
"The first words out of your mouth shouldn't be teasing ones. They should be a confession as to why you slipped earlier today." Hoseok huffs, putting his phone down in his lap. Jungkook pouts as he turns over on his stomach.
"It's nothing serious." The younger mumbles, turning away from the elder. Hoseok rolls his eyes before patting Jungkook on the butt.
"Then you should be able to tell me. There's nothing to be ashamed about, Kook. You know this."
Jungkook groans before turning to look at Hoseok.
"I guess... me hiding in the closet and hearing the front door slam open... just scared me. That's all." He answers, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. Hoseok coos as he slides down in the bed and pulls Jungkook to him.
"I'm sorry, babe. I didn't mean to scare you." Hoseok apologizes, pressing a kiss to Jungkook's temple.
"It's fine, hyung. I know you didn't mean to... But if you really feel bad, you can take me out for some food."
"Consider it done."
