Ch 9: Red Asphalt

Your P.O.V.

It's been a couple of days since I had raided the nuke plant. And I knew that Maero was going to be pissed at me about it too. So I was taking a walk around Saints Row and was shocked to see how much as changed. Then my phone started to ring and it turned out to be Carlos.

Carlos: Hey Boss, you got a minute?

Y/n: Sure Carlos, what's up?

Carlos: I can't tell you over the phone, so meet me at club koi.

Y/n: Alright, I'll see you there.

So with that I made my way over to the new club koi nightclub. Apparently, it was part of the new renovations to the Red Lights district. Once I got there, I saw that Carlos wasn't around.

I thought that he must be on his way and decided to wait. After a half an hour, I was starting get annoyed at how long Carlos was taking. Then some old guy walked by me and flashed me with his wang. Then when he left I heard my phone ring and saw it was Carlos.

Y/n: Carlos, where the fuck are you?

Jessica: Your people skills really need some work.

Y/n: Jessica, how do you like Maero's brand new tattoo.

Jessica: Actually I think it's pretty sexy. You know, tough, rugged.....

Y/n: Radioactive.

Jessica: How cute.

Y/n: I try, so what the fuck do you want?

Jessica: Well, I wanted to let you know that since you were nice enough to give my man a makeover, I thought I'd return the favor. Don't worry, when we're done, Carlos will be just as handsome as Maero is.

I honestly couldn't believe this, she must of had some men grab Carlos after he called. And I was really, really pissed off about it now.

Y/n: Listen up you fucking bitch....

Jessica: Of course, I don't have access to the same material you did. But you know, I figured we could make do.

Y/n: When I find you....

Jessica: Yeah, I'm sure you'll do something scary. But do me a favor, when we give you your friends corpse, remember that Maero gave you the chance to be partners.

With that, Jessica hung up and I was completely furious. I knew I had to find Carlos before they kill him, and I knew just who to ask where Carlos was. So I made my way over to Donnie's shop in Chinatown and killed The Brotherhood guarding it. Once they were all dead, I went inside and found Donnie.

Donnie: Oh God, not you again!

Y/n: Where's Carlos?!

Donnie: I'm not telling you!

I didn't have any time for Donnie to try and be a "tough guy." So I started to bear the living shit out of him to get him to talk. It didn't take me long to get Donnie to tell me what he knows.

Donnie: Okay! Okay, I'll talk!

Y/n: Where's Carlos?!

Donnie: I heard on if the guys say they were going to bring him to an old warehouse in Charlestown. But I swear to god that's all I know, I don't know which one.

Y/n: It'll do.

With that, I kicked Donnie in the face and knocked him out. Then I made my way to the docks yo find out where Carlos was. Then I came upon a lone Brotherhood member and grabbed him and dragged him into an alley.

Y/n: I know The Brotherhood has Carlos, so we are is he?!

Brotherhood thug: Fuck you Saint!

So I started to beat the shit out of him to get the information. After a minute or two, he revealed which warehouse that they had Carlos. So I made my way to the warehouse and found it guarded by some Brotherhood guys.

So I started to fight my way through the warehouse to find Carlos. And it was a good thing they weren't expecting me, so I had the element of surprise on my side. After I killed all the guards, I had found Carlos in a back room.

He was all tied up and he looked like he had the living shit beat out of him. So I had quickly untied him just as he was coming around.

Carlos: Boss? Is that you?

Y/n: That's right Carlos, I'm here and I'm getting you out of here.

So I helped Carlos to his feet and gave him a minute to recuperate. As soon as he was ready to go, we got in my car and left. Once we were in the clear, I drove back to the old hotel. We had a few guys who knew how to treat some wounds, so that's where we went.

Once we arrived at the hideout, I had quickly got Carlos to a couple of Saints who were waiting. After they took him inside, Pierce and Shaundi came out with concerned looks.

Pierce: Yo, what happened boss?

Y/n: The Brotherhood nearly killed Carlos.

Pierce: What?!

Shaundi: That's not cool.

Y/n: I know, and we're going to make them pay for it.

With that, Pierce and Shaundi both went to check on Carlos. I just stayed outside to try and calm down so I could collect my thoughts. Carlos almost got killed because of me, but it was just luck I found him. And now I was pissed and was going to make Maero pay.
