Ch 21: Bleeding Out

Lin's P.O.V.

Its been a few days since Anna and I ran into Martha. I wasn't keen on having to tell her about Anna being her granddaughter. I decided to bring Anna over to Aisha's home as we were both upstairs at the moment.

Then there was a loud crash coming from downstairs. I didn't if Aisha had dropped something or if someone was breaking in. So I took a peek and saw several Ronin thugs tie Aisha up. And I knew that it had to do with the money Y/n stole.

Anna: Mom? What's wrong?

I quickly had covered Anna's mouth to keep her quiet. Then she saw The Ronin and started to get scared. After a few minutes, Aisha woke up and some ass with multiple dragon tattoos started to question her. And as I thought, it was about the money that Y/n stole.

Jyunichi: I really don't take much pleasure in this.

Aisha: Then let me go.

Jyunichi: That depends on you.

Aisha: You're going to kill me, aren't you?

Jyunichi: If your calm, do what I say, and help us find our money, then I give you my word you will live.

I could tell that things weren't going well right now. I figured that Y/n and the others had already laundered the money. So it wasn't going to be solving any problems for The Ronin. But I knew Anna was really curious as to what this guy meant.

Anna: What money?

Lin: I'm not sure.

Johnny: Eesh, you home?

That's when The Ronin thug had then let out a silent signal to have the others hide. It worried me that Johnny was about to get killed. And as that asshole pulled out a sword, things went from bad to worse.

Aisha: JOHNNY IT'S A--

Thats when the guy had decapitated Aisha on the spot. Anna had started to cry as she saw Aisha die too. And I knew that this bastard needed to pay.

Your P.O.V.

Moments earlier

I was with Gat clearing some Ronin out of the museum district. A few of them tried to take it back from The Saints. And we were on our way back over to Aisha's place. I haven't spoken to her much since I got out of my coma and thought now would be a good time.

Y/n: You sure Aisha's not going to mind me dropping by?

Johnny: Yeah, Aisha doesn't go out much and loves company

And after a few minutes, we got to Aisha's place. But then Johnny had just stopped me for some reason. Then I saw that the door was partly open for no reason. So Johnny and I got out our guns as Johnny slowly opened the door.

Johnny: Eesh, you home?

We didn't hear anything and started to worry a little. From what Johnny told me, Aisha usually never left the door open at all. Part of me thought she was out and didn't know she forgot to close the door. But I knew that it had to be something else that was going on.

Aisha: JOHNNY! IT'S A--

That's when Aisha fell silent as me and Johnny burst in. As soon as we did, we saw that Aisha was dead. And I saw that it was a Ronin thug with some sort of dragon tattoo and two swords.

Johnny: EESH!

That's when a couple more Ronin had started to shoot at us. Johnny had also started to fight against The Ronin thug who killed Aisha. Gat killed another thug and used his sword to fight against Aisha's killer. Meanwhile, another thug was shooting at me, so I used a closet door as cover.

Another thug tried to kill me first, but I grabbed her and used her as a human shield. Once the other thug killed the I had, he ran out of ammo, so I had killed the bastard. A third thug came from just around the corner and started to shoot at me. Luckily, I still had the dead Ronin thug to use as a shield.

Then Johnny had blocked the other thugs attack before killing the thug shooting at me. Then a couple more came from the back door, so I took cover behind the coach. As the two new thugs kept shooting, I grabbed an SMG of the ground. I was able to kill one of the thugs before the other took cover.

Once the SMG was out of ammo, the other Ronin thug tried to shoot. But I was quicker and headshot him with my pistol first. Then I saw Johnny and the other Ronin thug still fighting it out. And I knew that I couldn't take my shot with Johnny in the way.

Y/n: JOHNNY! MOVE!

Sadly, the second I said that, The Ronin thug stabbed Johnny. I tried to kill the guy, but I was all out of ammo. So as I quickly reloaded, Johnny had punched the guy. And as soon as I started to shoot, the guy ran off before I could kill him on the spot.

Johnny: Get..... back here....

Then Johnny had pulled out the sword and fell. He started to bleed out bad, so I called Carlos to get here as fast as he could. Then I saw Anna and Lin both on the staircase in shock. I knew Anna would have questions, but now I had to get Johnny to safety.

After a few minutes, Carlos had gotten to Aisha's place. And he quickly drove us to the hospital as fast as he could. And on the way, I had to keep The Ronin off of us. After a few minutes, we got to the hospital, and luckily, there were a couple doctors outside. They had quickly gotten Johnny inside and on a gurney.

Y/n: It's going to be alright Johnny.

Johnny: Gotta... save Eesh..

Then the doctors quickly took Johnny to the ER. I knew that The Ronin were going to pay for this. So I decided to call Pierce to fill him in on what happened.

Y/n: Pierce, listen up, Johnny got laid out by one of The Ronin.

Pierce: That mean I get a promotion?

Y/n: Don't get excited asshole, Gat will be back up in no time.

Pierce: Yo, that came out wrong....

Y/n: Shut up and listen! Gat was looking into a Japanese crime boss named Akuji. This guy is going to be coming into town soon, and I want to know when he does.

Pierce: Got it.

Y/n: Don't fuck this up Pierce, I'm not in a good mood.

Then I hung up and then left the hospital to think. I knew that now Anna knew I was a cold blooded killer. And I also was possibly going to lose Johnny because of The Ronin. But I wasn't going to let that stop me from getting Aisha some justice.
